Wow Sundance it’s Wednesday!

Mark your calendars for Sat. March 20 for a free lunch!  We’re having block party!  This year Western Days will not be held in the normal fashion, however we want you to have fun!  Come to Activities as soon as you can this week to pick up your free lunch ticket for 3/20.  They are color coded to help with serving times and lessen crowding. We will have a walk pattern in place as well.  2 Old Dudes are cooking up this simple, yet yummy lunch with your choice of a hamburger or beef hot dog.  You will also receive chips and beans!  Limit one meal per person and this event is open to Sundance residents only or paying guests.  Jammers and Trio will be providing music throughout the day for our listening enjoyment.  Other surprises will be added to the day as well. The event will be outdoors.  If you hold a valid food handlers certification and would like to help, stop by Activities. We will need a head count for ordering purposes, so don’t delay in picking up your lunch ticket.  Thank you!

Time is running out to purchase tickets for a delicious corned beef and cabbage dinner presented by Sauce Boss.  Tickets are $14 each and besides the corned beef and cabbage do include red potatoes, carrots, and a cookie.  This is a carry out event only in front of the Activity office 4-6pm.  A perfect way to end the day on Wed. 3/17 after the St. Patrick’s Day parade.  The parade lines up at the Ranch House parking lot at 12:30pm and steps off at 1pm.  We hope to see you there!

Our lending Library is accepting donations of gently used books and DVD’s.  Please make sure that the books are in fairly good condition and not severely worn.  We are located in the Ranch House in SD 2!  Feel free to come and browse our shelves of reading material.

Speaking of books!  The Fiction Book Club will meet in the Hang Out Room on Tue. 3/16 at 9:30am.  Join us for lively discussion of our reading material.  Sign up in Activities before Tue. 3/23 to receive emailed reading updates.

Sign up to have your tires checked by Ed Whitehead’s on Thu. 3/18.  All hub caps, covers, hoses and other obstructions must be removed to allow easy access.

Today Walk Exercise will be at the Hole in the Wall at 9am.  Senior Stretch follows at 10:30am.

Town Council will meet at the Ranch House Meetin’ Room at 9am.

Hang Out hosts Bible Study at 10am.  Euchre is at 6:30pm.

GamblinRoom has Duplicate Bridge being played at 12pm.  In the evening, Progressive Hand Foot & Toe is at 6:30pm and Cribbage.

We have seats available for Bingo on Thu. 3/11.  Join us for a fun evening for under $10 at the Hole in the Wall.

Please note- If you are using the front load washers, DO NOT use more than a 1/4 cup of detergent.  Any more than that will ruin the machine and cause the soap to run out of the dispenser.  These are high efficiency washers that require less detergent.

Don’t forget to leave mailing labels at the Main office before you leave.  Our Computer lab is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings and can print them for $1 a sheet.

-The more you take, the more you leave behind. What am I?         Answer:  Footsteps    Have a great day!
