Sundance Block Party is 11am-3pm on Sat. 3/20.  Please bring your mask and wear when social distancing is difficult. Also name badge needs to be worn and tickets for you lunch are needed as well.  We have a request to have chair volleyball outdoors this season.  We will need a minimum of 4 teams with a total of 6 per team.  Sign up in Activities if interested.  We will also need 2-4 refs/score keepers.  This is a fun event played with a beach ball while seated in a chair.  We are need of  volunteers for some set up and tear down. Please stop in at Activities to sign up.  Jammers and Trio will be playing by pool 1.  Activity office will be closed, and ice can be purchased via the Host.  The parking area in front of the Activity and Main office will be blocked off. It should be a great weather day for outdoor fun, music, and socializing.  Soda and water will be available for purchase.

Reminder that the last fire for projects in Ceramics will be Fri. 4/2.  The room will close on Wed. 4/7.

The mail room no longer has Saturday hours.  If your medication arrives on the weekend, please contact the Host and they will notify management that a package is needed.  Don’t forget to drop off mailing labels at the Main office before you depart to ensure that your mail is forwarded.

Sunday 3/21 in front the Activity office at 10am we will have a Blessing of the Bikes.  All Sundance motorcycle and trike owners are invited to this short service before we depart on a ride to San Tan Flats.  This will be our last ride of the season. Spectators are invited as well.

Congratulations to Carol Reid who won the Stained Glass stepping stone.  Also to Pat Davis who won the Rock Clock made by Lapidary!  Both rooms thank everyone for their support to their raffles!

At Sundance we do our best to recycle.  Aluminum cans can be dropped off at site 171 in the container.  If you crush them that is always a plus however, they are accepted uncrushed as well.  All proceeds are donated to the Sundance/Fairways Veterans. We just learned that #1 plastic can be dropped off at Sundance 2 site #19 or taken to the back of Bow Wow Meow Consignment store at 315 N Florence St.  It must be #1 plastic only, rinsed out, labels removed,  and crushed is also helpful.  Proceeds are donated to the Valley Humane Society.

Smoke Signal articles need to be emailed to sundance1activities@hotmail.com or dropped off  in Activities no later then Mon. 3/22.  Random Acts of Kindness forms need to be in by that time too.  Let everyone know what your groups have done this season!

Please note- If you are using the front load washers, DO NOT use more than a 1/4 cup of detergent.  Any more than that will ruin the machine and cause the soap to run out of the dispenser.  These are high efficiency washers that require less detergent.
