Sundance Wednesday is Sure to be Wonderful and Warmer!

Wed. 3/9 –

Town Council meets at Ranch House Meetin’ Room 9am.

Weather/wind permitting Shuffleboard is at 9:30am, Tai Chi is at Pool 1 patio 10am. This afternoon water volleyball at 1pm Pool 2, Pickleball has play scheduled, see you at the courts and RC Racers are at the track at 1pm.

Lunch is served at the Hole in the Wall at 11am-1:30pm featuring Philly cheese sandwiches (choice of meat) with fries $10   Chef’s choice soup or salad  $8  add chicken to salad $10.

Happy hour at Pool 1 tonight 4-6:30pm with Karaoke by George.  Bring a comfy chair, your vocals, and beverage and enjoy the park’s hidden talent.

Appetizers will be available for purchase at Happy Hour include Macaroni & cheese fritters $5  Chicken tender’s w/fries $10  Nachos small $6 or large $10.  See you there!

RC Cars your meeting is in the Gamblin’ room 4-5:30pm.

Ceramics, Lapidary, and Stained Glass will be open 6-8:30pm this evening.  This is a perfect opportunity to start a hobby or finish one that is already in progress.

Tickets –

Five tickets are available for The Music Man at the Hale Theatre in Gilbert for the 4pm performance on Friday 4/8 show.  $32 each and there isn’t a bad seat in the house!

Purchase St. Patrick’s Day dinner tickets at $16 each which includes full meal, dessert and beverage served at the Hole in the Wall on Thursday 3/17.  Take out available 3:30-4pm only.

Wildman Phil will be here Saturday 3/12 at 7pm at the Hole in the Wall with a few desert creatures, fun, and educational information.  Tickets are $8 now or at the door.  Check out his web site to learn more about Wildman Phil and what he is all about!

Campbell’s Band tickets for our dance on Friday 3/25 at the Hole in the Wall at 7pm are available now $10 each.

Chair Massage by Mandy will be at the Ranch House Meetin’ Room on Thursday 3/31 for $10.  Don’t wait to schedule an appointment as they do fill quickly.

Softball News – Yesterday was the beginning of the Palm Creek Spring Softball season.  All teams are made-up of players from all the teams.  The Sundance Mustang team has 4 of the regular Sundance players and is coached by Stan Huntrods.  There are a total of 9 Sundance Softball players participating in the spring league.   Yesterday in their first game the Mustangs defeated the Robson Ranch Raptors 13-11.

The league plays on Tuesdays and Thursdays with all games at the Palm Creek field.  The remainder of the Sundance Mustang schedule is:

Thursday March 10th:  Mustangs vs the Palm Creek Diamondbacks at 11:00 AM

Tuesday March 15th:   Mustangs vs the Palm Creek Cobras at 1:30 PM

Thursday March 17th:  Mustangs vs the Robson Ranch Rangers at 8:30 AM

Mustangs vs the Fiesta Grande Scorpions at 9:45 AM

Tuesday March 22nd:  Mustangs vs the Palm Creek Razorbacks at 1:30 PM

Thursday March 24th:  Mustangs vs the Robson Ranch Renegades at 9:45 AM

No lunch on Thursday 3/10 however a Lasagna dinner with garlic bread will be served 4-6pm for $12 at the Hole in the Wall.  Also available is Chef’s choice of soup or a salad for $8 each or add chicken to the salad at $10.  See you Thursday evening for dinner!

Jim the jewelry guy will be in the Activity parking lot on Friday 3/11 at 9am.  He has authentic Indian jewelry available.

Trio Plus Two show will be at the Hole in the Wall on Friday evening at 6:30pm.  Join us for great music by our talented residents.  Donations accepted and appreciated.

April Smoke Signal deadline is Sunday March 20.  Everyone is encouraged to submit news about your group, club, or event.  Residents are welcome to submit articles as well.  This is the last publication of the season.

Current Coordinators of groups, rooms, or activities please let our office know if you will be coordinating your specialty next season or if you are stepping back.  If you have someone taking your place, please share that too.

Last call for room reservations for any private or activity, potluck, or meeting where a room will be needed.  Rooms are filling quickly for next season and we do our best to accommodate requests.
