News Notes –

Smoke Signals should have or will be in your mailboxes very soon.  The Mail Room has been busy getting through the USPS mail and all the packages, so just keep checking your box for your copy.  Help the Mail Room out by checking your mailbox often.  The mailboxes are small and fill quickly.  Don’t forget to bring your key too.

Thank you to everyone who attended all of the events this past weekend starting with Casino Night on Friday evening, Saturday morning breakfast, the card and gift sale, lunch, and the Josh West & Band dance!

Today 1/31 –

Hale Theatre Tag Along to the 4pm performance of Nunsense should leave the park around 2pm to allow ample travel time.

Beginner Origami class will be held at the Ranch House Meetin’ Room at 1pm.  If you are interested in this unique art of paper folding, please plan on attending.

Art Barn will have painting 1-3:45pm.  All painters regardless of type of paint you use are encouraged to bring your supplies and projects.

Gamblin’ Room will have Mah Jongg at 10am, Bridge at 1pm and at 6:30pm Hand Foot & Toe.  You must sign up during regular play to be in the February tournament.

Hang Out Room will have Cactus Needles at 10am and Crafty Ladies at 1pm.

Hole in the Wall will be busy with Walk Exercise at 9am, Senior Stretch is at 10:30am, Musical Review show practice is at 12pm and then Jammers will be at 6:30pm.

Weather appears favorable for Shuffleboard at 9:30am,  Water Volleyball at 1pm at Pool 2 and RC Cars will meet at 1pm.

Pickleball has scheduled play and they will have their meeting on the courts Wednesday 2/2 at 4pm.  Originally this was scheduled in the Gamblin’ Room.

We have tickets for the John Denver Tribute, Poppy Harpman & the Storm, Valentine’s Day event!

Sign-Ups –

SkyMed will be here for a lunch seminar at 11:30am featuring Panda Express on Wednesday 2/8 in the Hang Out Room.  Hearing Life will be conducting free screenings on Friday 2/11 and there are appointment times to fit your busy schedule.

Tuesday 2/1 –

Rzr Riders will meet tomorrow 2/1 at the McDonald’s in Florence at 8:30am  Last week 14 rigs went out for some fun!

Round Up Meeting will be at the Hole in the Wall at 8:30am.  Join us for morning munchies and beverages while learning about park news!  All guests are encouraged to attend.
