Sundance Thursday and the Fun Continues!

Notes-

Welcome to all the new arrivals!  We do ask that you wear name badges while in the park.  They are required to participate in any activity.

Keep us up to date by filling out the contact form located in Activities.  Life changes so we want to make sure we the most current info on file for you.  Once completed just drop off at the Main office drop slot across from the Mailroom.

Letters! We get letters and packages too!  Help your hard-working Mailroom out by checking your mail often.  Increased population means more mail and packages which do need to picked up as quickly as possible.

The Fun Stuff! –

Upcoming classes include – Cardmaking Friday, 12/3  1pm at the Ranch House Meetin’ Room.

Stained Glass 3 session Mosaic class Monday, 12/6, 13, & 20 1-3:45pm. You must attend first class.

Mandala Dot Painting (Open Dot Painting) Friday, 12/10 12:30-3:30pm at the Art Barn.

Intermediate/Advanced Beginner Mandala Dot Painting Friday, 12/17 1-3pm  at the Art Barn.

Sign up is required for all classes.  If you have signed up and can’t make it, please let the instructor know.  Please note – Progressive Beginner Crochet class has been cancelled for the month of December.

Today-

Open art is at 9am-12pm and 1-3:45pm.  All art projects you are working on are invited to come in for good conversation and tip sharing.

Gamblin’ Room has Hand, Foot & Toe played at 9am, Pinochle at 1pm, and Dominoes at 7pm.

Hang Out Room is reserved in the morning and Darts is at 3:30pm, Poker is at 6pm.

Hole in the Wall hosts Walk Exercise at 9am and Line Dancing at 1:30pm $2 fee.

Ranch House Meetin’ Room has Bridge at 7pm.

We have Angels that need to have a few more items purchased for their Christmas wishes. Stop by Activities and select an Angel off of our tree.

Toy collection is being done at site 564 Newman to support the 35th Annual Casa Grande Toy Parade and Auction on Sunday, 12/5. New, unwrapped toys (sorry, no stuffed animals) are appreciated. The Punishers Law Enforcement Motorcycle Desert Central Chapter will be participating in this event and their President Bill Ames resides in Sundance as well as his parents.  The Club will do a group ride through Sundance on Sunday morning beginning on/around 9am entering through the main gate down Duke Blvd turning right on Newman, left on Ritter, left on Maverick, Left on tonto ending at site 452 Tonto.  Your support is appreciated by lining the streets and waving flags.  More details are available in Activities regarding the parade and event.

If you have interest in trains, bocce ball, woodworking and more, come to Activities and check out more details regarding these activities.

Country Store will be tomorrow 9am-12pm.  We will have many crafters available to help with your holiday shopping!

Get your batteries juiced and lights lit for our Parade tomorrow evening featuring our entry in the C.G. Light Parade.  Meet at the Ranch House parking lot (NOT the street) at 5:30pm and we roll at 6pm. Everyone is invited to decorate you golf cart or bike and join in on the festivities!

Casino Night is Friday, 1/28/22 and we need volunteers to make this event happen.  It is a fun night with many prizes available for you to win!  Gently used items are needed for gifts and can be dropped off at site #62 in Sundance 2.  Sign up sheet for volunteers is located in Activities.

We have two raffles going on in Activities.  Support the Sundance/Fairways Veterans by purchasing tickets for a quilt, beaded bracelet, crocheted throw or a stained glass eagle. All are on display in Activities.  Tickets are 7 for $5 or $1 each.  Proceeds go to supporting local veteran projects.

Stained Glass is raffling off  a beautiful butterfly stepping stone.  It is on display in the Activity office and tickets at $1 each or $5  for 7 !
