Sundance Monday!

Thanks again to everyone who came out and enjoyed the block party on Sat. 3/20.  If you helped out in any way you are greatly appreciated.  Jammers and Trio, your music and vocals were amazing along with your instrument playing!  Thank you to the 2 Old Dudes for the meal prep and the serving volunteer team, a job well done! Even though the event was modified to accommodate the season, it was a great time!  Guessing game winner Patricia N. guessed 234 pieces of candy and the correct amount was 236!   Chair Volleyball results-1st place White Amigos, 2nd Winners, and 3rd Cody Street  Gang.

This Week –

Mon. 3/22  2 Old Dudes are closed.  Last Jam of the season will be held at site 53 on Cassidy 1-3pm. Bring your comfy chair and beverage and enjoy the music.

Tue. 3/23 Round Up meeting is at 8:30am at the Hole in the Wall.  Join us for coffee, tea and morning munchies while learning about park news!  Hearing Life will be in the Hang Out Room conducting screenings. We do have a noon appointment available.  If you need one a bit later, stop in Activities this morning as we will be pulling the sign up sheet at 11am.  Rzr Riders will meet at the McDonald’s in Florence at 8:30am.  Last ride had 16 rigs so we hope to see you there!  2 Old Dudes open 11am-2pm.  Bingo is full at this time, however we do encourage you to stop by the Hole in the Wall at 6:30pm to see if seats are available.  We do try to seat most everyone.

Wed. 3/24  New Image Fashion Sale will be at the Hole in the Wall 10am-2pm.  We will have temporary dressing rooms available.  **NOTE**  Walk Exercise and Senior Stretch will not be held.  Thank you.  2 Old Dudes open 11am-2pm.

Thu. 3/25  Last skills & drill will be held on the Pickleball courts at 10am.  2 Old Dudes open 11am – 2pm.  Seats are available for Bingo so come on into Activities to sign up.

Fri. 3/26  A for fun Jam practice will be held at 8:30am in the Hang Out Room.  2 Old Dudes plan on being open 11am-2pm providing that they are not our of food.  This is their last day of the seaason.  Warren Young will be performing at POOL 1 patio 4-6pm. Enjoy your happy hour with some great music, your favorite beverages and personal snacks.  NO GLASS containers are allowed on patio or in pool or hot tub area.

Sat. 3/27  11am a Celebration of Life for Steve Shepard and Hummingbird Garden Dedication will be held next to the MGN Sales office.  Per the Family’s request, this will be a brief service and they ask that health standards be maintained, therefore, no food will be served and please wear your mask and social distance.   We will have a limited number of chairs set up so you may want to bring  your own.   *Note that the road will be temporarily be closed during the service.*

Room/Activity Notes–  Computer Lab will be closing Mon. 4/5 for the season.  If you need mailing labels please come in before that time.  We look forward to seeing everyone next season!  Ceramics asks that anyone who is working on a project that needs to be fired to please have it completed and ready to go by Fri. 4/2.  This will be the last fire of the season before the room closes on Wed. 4/7.  Attention all book readers- if you want to receive email updates during the summer please sign up in Activities before Tue. 3/23.
