Sundance! It’s Tuesday!

Notes –

Please bring your key and pick up your mail often as parcels and mail is increasing as more guests arrive.  If you don’t bring your key, we will ask that you show a form of I.D. If someone else is picking up your mail, please let the Mailroom know.

When you arrive, please give the Main office know by calling 520-876-2714.

TODAY-

Round Up Meeting is in the Hole in the Wall at 8:30am.  All resident/guests are invited to this meeting and enjoy coffee and morning munchies.  Today’s sponsor is Deron from PM-MH Insurance.

Rzr Riders will meet this morning at McDonald’s in Florence at 8:30am.  Their last ride they checked out the Ripsey Mine.  If you need more info about the fun, reach out to Andy at andydorita@gmail.com .

At 1:30pm Line Dance will be in the Hole in the Wall. A small fee of $2 is collected.

Bingo will be at 7pm with card sales at 6-6:45pm.  This event is open to Sundance and Fairways only. Please wear your name badge and pay with small currency. No alcohol is allowed in the room. We will have daubers available for purchase. Each player is allowed to save only one seat to keep it fair for everyone.

Art Barn will have Intro to Fiber Art (spinning) at 9am and Fiber art and/or open art at 1pm.

Gamblin’ Room has Wood Caving at 9am, Progressive Hand & Foot at 9:30am (this will change next week), Samba is played at 6:30pm and Pinochle at 7pm.

Hang Out Room is reserved this morning and will have Darts at 3:30pm.  Poker plays at 6pm.

Ranch House Meetin’ Room has Hardanger at 1pm. This form is of Norwegian embroidery employs stitching and cutting to form designs. Lessons begin today to introduce you to this art. Come check them out to learn or just to see what it is all about.  No sign up is needed.

Shuffleboard is played at 9:30am.

Gourd Shop is featuring their advanced class, a beaded wall hanging.  Sign up was required for this session.

Wednesday –

Dessert Theater is having a casting call on Wednesday, 12/8 in the Hang Out Room 9-11am.  We have speaking and non-speaking parts.  We invite everyone who would like to be a part of this production to stop by and check out the script!  Our show is scheduled at the end of February so we will have ample time to practice.

Bob Villa, a local entertainer will be playing country, classic rock, inspirational and more at Pool 1 Patio 4-6pm happy Hour.  Our Sundance Café will be open with a light menu featuring brats or club sandwiches with chips prepared by Dining with the Duffies, for you to purchase. .  Bring your comfy chair or use ours, along with a beverage, purchase some good eats and enjoy an evening of music. Donations to Activities and the entertainer are appreciated.

Gamblin’ Room will have Mah Jongg played at 1pm.  RC Cars will have their meeting at 4-5:30pm. 6:30pm Cribbage is played along with Progressive Hand & Foot.

Euchre is played at 7pm in the Hang Out Room.

Hole in the Wall  features Walk Exercise at 9am and Senior Stretch at 10:30am.

Ranch House Meetin’ Room has Town Council meeting at 9am.  (NOTE- time was incorrect is yesterday’s message)

Other Things  Goin’ On –

Angel Tree donations are needed by Friday 12/10.  Please drop off your donations in Activities.  We do have a few Angels that need their wish list completed.

Hearing Life will be here Friday 12/10 and now is the time to sign up for the appointment time that fits your schedule.   Sign-ups are also available for the SkyMed Lunch/Seminar on Tuesday, 12/14 at 11:30am in the Hang Out Room.  Our Sundance Blood Drive will be on Monday 12/27 in the Hole in the Wall at 10am and appointment times are filling fast for this event.

Open dot painting with Pam will be Friday, 12/10 at the Art Barn at 12:30pm.  This is a no fee session and will allow individuals to work on their projects and receive light instruction.

This Saturday, 12/11 is our Sundance Community Patio Sales!  8am-Noon and the public is invited to this advertised event.

Jammers will host their first show Boot-Scoot & Boogie on Friday , 12/17 at the Hole in the Wall at 6:30pm.  Put on your dancing shoes, as there will be room to strut your stuff.  This is a donation-based show for all to enjoy!

Michelle T. is collecting gently used items for Casino Night which will be held on Friday, 1/28.  You can drop your donations off on the front porch in Sundance 2 #62.  She is also looking for volunteers for this event.  Stop in at Activities to sign up!
