News Notes –

Thank you to all who attended our entertainment event last evening Tribute to John Denver by Brad Fitch with his lead guitarist Mark.  A very enjoyable evening, bringing back memories with great vocals, guitar playing and light comedy.

Beginner Mandala Dot Painting class is scheduled for Saturday 2/5 in the Art Barn at 9:30am.  Fee is $10 and if you have signed up and can’t make the class, please contact Pam right away as there is a waiting list.

Dinner will be served at the Hole in the Wall tonight featuring Country fried steak, mash potatoes, peas $12  Homemade Cream of mushroom soup/salad $8.  Beverage choice lemonade or iced tea.  We do offer gluten free and vegetarian options. -Dining with the Duffies

Time is running out to get your tickets for the two raffles that are being held.  Stop in at Stained Glass and check out the beautiful picture that is being offered and purchases tickets too $5 for 7 or $1 each.  Drawing will be just before at the Country Store tomorrow on/or around 11:50am.  Lapidary is raffling off choice of a rock clock or a pair of shark tooth earrings.  Both are on display in Activities and tickets are $1 each or 7 for $5.  Drawing will be at the Round Up meeting on Tuesday 2/15.  All proceeds from both raffles go to their respective shops to purchase supplies/equipment.

Poppy Harpman & the Storm are so excited to perform for the first time at Sundance this Saturday 2/5 6:30-9:30pm at the Hole in the Wall.  Let’s show him and his band some Sundance Love and plan on attending this R & B dance!  BYOB and snacks are welcome.  Soda and water available for purchase. Today 2/3 –

Open Art will be at the Art Barn 9am-12pm and 1 – 3:45pm.  Bring in your current projects or stop in to learn a new hobby.

Gamblin’ Room has Hand Foot & Toe at 9am.  Their tournament is scheduled for Monday 2/1 at6pm and you must sign up during regular play to participate.  Pinochle is at 1pm and Mexican Train is at 7pm.

Hang Out Room is reserved for  Management at 9am-12pm.  Sundance Solos meeting is at 1pm and Darts is at 3:30pm

Hole in the Wall offers Walk Exercise at 9am and Line Dance at 1:30pm $2 fee.  Dinner is served at 4pm.

Bridge is played at 7pm at the Ranch House Meetin’ Room.

Time is running out for you to purchase tickets for our Valentines Day  event on Saturday 2/12.  A four course dinner will be served with choice of main entrée options.  Stop in at Activities for more details or check out the bulletin boards.

Later this Month –

We are looking for a decorating committee to brainstorm for ideas for our Sundance Sock Hop on Saturday 2/19.  This should be a fun night with several contests, prizes and music from the 50’s.  Sign up in Activities and plan on attending the meeting at the Ranch House at 2pm on Friday 2/11!  We do have tickets available at $5 each and the Duffies Diner will be serving up Burger and Hot Dog baskets.

Caywood Farms Tag-Along is scheduled for Monday 2/14!  Nancy the owner of the farm has a special treat for Sundance participants!  $15 per person payable at time of sign up.  Pack a picnic lunch and go early as there are tables available. If you have a walking impairment, you  are encouraged to take the tour and when the group travels in the wagon, you are welcome to drive your vehicle so you don’t miss out on the information and fun!  Sign up by Wednesday 2/9.

On Saturday 2/26 we will have Silver Creek Band playing Country, Classic Rock and Blues 6:30-9:30pm at the Hole I the Wall.  Tickets are $10 or $11 at the door.  Let’s get out and dance, dance, dance !  BYOB

MGN Sales will be hosting g an Open House on Saturday 2/19 at the Ranch House.  If you are interested in volunteering, come to Activities to sign up for a specific position.
