Pool 2 will be closed beginning Monday 10/25 through Sunday 10/31 for maintenance and cleaning. Please adjust your schedules accordingly.
If you have arrived in the park and haven’t checked in with the Main office, please do. Stop by or better yet, just give us a call at 520-426-9662.
Please make every effort to complete the guest emergency contact form that was in the October Smoke Signal and return to the Main office. You can also drop in in the drop box in the Mailroom hallway. If you need a form, stop by Activities.
Wear your name badges while in the park please. They will be required to participate in activities. It’s also a safety net for you should a medical event occur and you are unable to tell us who you are. Help us help you!
If you need a vehicle decal, please come on into the Main office. This is a quick identifier for our Gate Team that you are a Sundance resident/guest.
Fun Stuff!
Some of our activities are slow to start due to not having enough Monitors to open rooms. Please be patient as they are arriving and things will get up and running very soon! We still have things available for you to do.
Sat. 10/23 – Gamblin’ Room – If you’re interested photography, the club will be having their first meeting at 9 – 11am. Everyone is invited to join. At 6:30pm Hand, Foot & Toe is played.
Sun. 10/24 – Gamblin Room has Texas Hold’em being played at 4-7pm. Bridge players are there 7-10pm.
Hang Out Room has Texas Hold’em 6-10pm.
Mon. 10/25 –
Stain Glass will be open 9am-12pm. Come on in and check out the shop and if you are a beginner, now is the time to get one on one instruction.
Gourd Shop is having an orientation for gourd art. This is a free and come to sign up in Activities for the time that fits your schedule, 12:30pm or 2pm.
Gamblin” Room is open and busy with Mah Jongg at 9am-12pm, Bridge is played 1-4pm, and Hand Foot & Toe 6:30-10pm.
Hang Out has Cactus Needles 10am-12pm and Crafty Ladies will be there 1-3:30pm.
Tag Along News – We have one ticket left for the Mary Poppins production on Fri. 11/19 at 3pm at the Hale Theatre. Ticket is $32 and the Theatre is located in Gilbert, AZ. Great place to have dinner after the show!
Sign Ups – Walgreens Flu Vaccine Clinic to be held on Mon. 11/8 at Hole in the Wall. Sign up deadline Wed. 11/3, SkyMed Luncheon/Seminar will be held in the Hang Out Room on Tue. 11/9 at 11:30am. Sign up in Activities by Sat. 11/05.
Classes & Meetings – Progressive Crochet class will be held 1-3pm every Wednesday in November at the Art Barn. Sign up by Wed. Oct 27 and fee is $10 per class.
Card Making will be held the first and third Fridays of each month at the Ranch House Meetin’ Room 1-4pm. Fee is $10 for four cards and sign-up sheet is in Activities.
Calling all single women and men! The Singles Group will have a short meeting in the Hang Out Room on Thu. 1/25, 1-2pm to brainstorm on activities that we all will enjoy doing together. Please sign up in Activities.
Monitors & Volunteers Needed – Get involved a little or a lot by becoming a Monitor or Volunteer in the park. It’s painless and fun! Openings are available in Ceramics, Computer Room, Lapidary, Mailroom, Main Gate, and Stained Glass. Stop in Activities to sign up and we will provide you with contact info as well.
