Sundance Friday with a Fun and Warm Weekend Ahead!

Western Days Sat 3/19  please read

Please be aware of parking and road closures.  Do not go around any blocked off areas.  The Main office parking to the Sales office will be blocked.  The one way street will be blocked off along with the parking lot for Laundry, Ceramics and Stained Glass.  The Gamblin’ Room is open and parking is located by Sewing room.

Wear your name badge. Participants please make sure you bring a beverage or two with you as the weather will be on the warn side.  There will be soda and water available for purchase as well.

Arrive before the event will begin as some events will draw names to establish teams.

Guessing game will be in Activities and we will open at 8:30am.  One guess per participant please.

Poker Run starts at 8:30am at the Ranch House and ends in front of the Activities office.  Please do not exceed speed limit and stop at all marked  intersections.

Jenga and Corn Hole games are in front of Ceramics and Stained Glass shops.  Games will begin 9-ish after teams are established.

Jammers play 11am-1pm at Pool 1 patio.

Chair Volleyball will be in the Hole in the Wall.  Posting of the teams who are playing are on outside window of Activities.  All teams should be at the Hole in the Wall no later than 1pm as games will begin 1:15-ish.

Blindfold Golf Cart Race will be in the Main office parking lot.  This event will follow the Chair volleyball and start time will be estimated at 3:30 or 4pm.

Awards will be awarded at the conclusion of the Golf Cart event in front of Activities.

Resident guests please bring beverages as the weather will be warm.  Beverage sales will be by the Hole in the Wall, in Activity office (water only) and also mobile.  You may even want to bring a chair to be able to watch events.

Please use the breezeway between the Hole in the Wall and Laundry for lunch service.  Arrive close to the time that is on your ticket as we have a system in place for serving.   Dining will be available on the patio, around Pool 1 and the Hole in the Wall will have tables available as well. Ticket and name badge required.

We are looking forward to a great day of fun, laughter, and games along with everyone cheering on their favorite teams! Thank you in advance for your participation and cooperation.

Meeting Reminder –  Photo Club will meet today 3/18 in the Gamblin’ Room at 9am.  There will be NO Photo Shop class on Saturday 3/19.  The last class will be Saturday 3/26.

Lunch is served at the Hole in the Wall 11am-1:30pm  Fish & chip hush puppies, Cole slaw $12  Chef’s choice soup OR salad  $8  add chicken to salad $10

Today is the last day of Tai Chi at 10am at Pool 1 patio.  Shuffleboard is at 9:30am, 1pm Water Volleyball Pool 2, Novice pickleball at 10am, RC Racers 1pm.

Sunday 3/20

4pm Sundance Happy Hour  Street dance in front of Activities!  Bring your chair, snack and beverage and dance the early evening away.  Entertainment by George will be playing a wide variety of dance tunes.  Food will be served from the gazebo Burger or Brat for $10.   Come and join in on the fun!

Gamblin’ Room  4pm Texas Hold’em, 7pm Mexican train dominoes.

Hang Out 1pm Trio practice, 6pm tournament Texas Hold’em.

Hole in the Wall 8:30am  Church and everyone is invited.

Softball News-  The Sundance Mustangs had a tough day with two losses.  In the first game they were defeated by the Robson Ranch Rangers 15-14.  The second game the Mustangs lost to the Fiesta Grande Scorpions, 14-11.  The Mustangs are 2 wins and 3 losses in league play.  Next game is Tuesday 3/22 at Palm Creek Field against the Palm Creek Razorbacks at 1:30pm.
