Busy weekend here at Sundance and out of the park too!
Notes-
It’s so great to see that evening and early morning walkers are using flashlights. It makes it so much easier for vehicles to see you. Golf carts, bikes and scooters do need to have operational lights on them.
Please pick up after your dogs when out and about in the park. No dogs are allowed in the Main office complex, in pools and should remain on black topped surfaces.
When leaving the pool or spa areas, please take a few seconds to towel off before leaving. Cover ups are required for men and women when not in the pool or spa.
Fun Stuff!
We have a couple of Angels on our tree in Activities that still need a few things.
Toy collection is being done on site 564 Newman for the 35th Annual Casa Grande Toy Parade and Auction through Saturday 12/4. New, unwrapped toys are accepted, sorry no stuffed animals. All toys are will be distributed by the Casa Grande Salvation Army.
We have a few more tickets available for the Hale Theatre Tag-Along to Chaps on Friday 1/7/22 at 4pm. Tickets are $32.
Today is Country Store day! Come on over to the Hole in the Wall and by Pool 1 to check out the crafters. Plenty of shopping time 9am-12pm and grab a light breakfast too!
Tonight, is our float and decorated golf cart parade. We will line up at the Ranch House parking lot beginning at 5:30pm with roll off at 6pm to travel throughout our Sundance community. Help us spread the Christmas spirit with everyone!
Wood Carving will be in the Gamblin’ room at 9am. If you are interested in learning this hobby, stop on in as we are happy to show you. Samba is played at 1pm and Pegs & Jokers will be at 7pm.
Hang Out has Jammers practicing at 8:30am and Crafty Ladies will be there at 1pm.
Ranch House Meetin’ Room has Card Making class at 1pm. Create 4 cards for $10. See you there!
Shuffleboard will be played at 9:30am. 0.50 per day to play and that is a great bargain!
Tai Chi is scheduled at Pool 1 patio at 10am.
Water Volleyball is at 1pm at Pool 2. Water shoes are encouraged but please do not wear them to and from the pool as debris from the shoes will end up in the pool or possibly cause damage to the equipment.
Saturday, 12/4
Casa Grand Electric Light parade kicks off at 5:45pm on Florence Blvd. Voting starts at 7pm and our entry number is #14. Visit www.ELPVote.com to cast your ballot. Vote early and often 😊
Photo Club meets in the Gamblin’ Room at 9am. At 1pm Mah Jongg is played. Pinochle and Hand Foot & Toe are both at 6:30pm.
Bunco starts at 6:30pm in the Hang Out room. There is a small playing fee.
Sunday, 12/5
Church services are at 8:30am at the Hole in the Wall.
The Punishers Law Enforcement Motorcycle Group will be riding though Sundance at or around 9am. They will be entering through the main gate down Duke Blvd, turning right on Newman, left on Ritter, left on Maverick, left on Tonto ending at site 452 Tonto. Everyone is welcome to support, cheer, and join in the ride with the group as they make their way through the park. They will depart going to Dave White Park where registration for the parade begins at 10am. From Dave White parade will travel down N. Thornton and end at The Property at 1281 West Gila Bend Highway for lunch buffet, live auction and music. Everyone is welcome to participate in this great cause.
Gamblin’ Room will have Texas Hold’em at 4pm and Dominoes at 7pm.
Hang Out has Trio practice at 1pm and Tournament Texas Hold’em at 6pm
Bridge is played at the Ranch House Meetin’ room at 7pm.
We have classes starting as early as Monday, 12/6 and please stop by Activities to sign up or get on the waiting list.
Attention Pickleball beginners! Class will now be held at 11am on Thursdays instead of of 10am. See you on the courts!
