Just a few notes on this beautiful Monday!

Maintenance –

Pool 2 will be closed for cleaning Mon. Oct. 18 through Sun. Oct. 24.  Please adjust your schedules accordingly.

Activity hours for this week Oct. 11-16, Monday – Friday 9am- Noon  Saturday 9am- 1pm.

Classes –  Instructors do take time to make kits for their classes.  Please sign up so they know how many will be attending.

A Card Making class will be offered by Sue H. at the Ranch House 1-4pm on Friday, 10/15.  Cost is $10 for 4 cards.  Please sign up in Activities by Wed. 10/13.  This class will be offered the first and third Friday of each month, same time and place.

Sign up for a Beginner Crochet class beginning Wednesday Nov. 3 at the Art Barn, 1-3pm.  Fee is $10 per class and will be held each Wednesday in November.  This will be a progressive class taught by Debbie P.  Come to Activities to sign up before Wed. 10/27.

The Gourd Shop will be having an orientation on Mon. Oct. 25 at 12:30pm and 2pm.  The orientation is the same at either time, and is a great way to see if this activity is for you!  Plan to attend one at the Gourd Shop (aka Building #1) by the Ranch House.  Beginners class will be on Mon. Nov. 01, time is TBA.

Duplicate Bridge will begin play on Wed. Oct. 20 in the Gamblin’ Room at 12:00pm.  If you have a partner bring them along and if you don’t they will find one for you.  All levels of players are invited to join. If you have questions, please reach out to Fritzi F. 818-519-1171.

Woodcarvers are looking forward to seeing everyone in the Gamblin’ Room on Tuesdays and Fridays 9am – Noon.  Women and men are welcome to join us.  We encourage all skill levels to participate and share your ideas and sklls.  We have tools you can borrow and beginner kits available.
