Let’s start off with our business so we can get to the fun!
Proper Pool & Hot Tub Etiquette – Pool and hot tub users , did you know that by not showering before entering the pools or hot tubs will cause a film to develop? Even with the chemicals that we use, body oils and other lotions do not break down. Please practice proper pool and hot tub etiquette to ensure that our facilities remain in top condition for all to enjoy.
Before leaving the pool and hot tub areas, take a moment to towel off. Your drips will create slips for you or someone else. So, take a minute before proceeding to the showers.
Due to a snafu, Bingo will not begin as planned on the first Tuesday of November. We are hoping for the 2nd Tuesday in November, although we will have to keep you updated on the situation. Smoke Signals should be in your mailboxes on/or by Monday.
Beginning Mon. 11/1 Activities will be open 8:30am-4pm Mon. – Fri. and 8:30am-3pm on Sat. Closed on Sun.

Today in the Gamblin’ Room the Wood Carvers will be working on their creations 9am-12pm. At 1pm Samba will be played and Pegs & Jokers is at 7pm
Hang Out Room has Crafty Ladies working various crafts. Join them 1-3:30pm.
Sat. 10/30 Mah Jongg will be played 1-4pm in the Gamblin’ Room. At 6:30pm Pinochle is played along with Hand Foot & Toe.
Join us for a movie in the Hole in the Wall at 7pm. Bring a comfy chair, snacks and beverage to enjoy. Title is available in Activities.
Sun. 10/31 Join us at Pool 1 Patio for our Halloween Happy Hour/Octoberfest 4-6:30pm. Don’t forget to wear your costume for a chance to win prizes. Warren Young will be providing music and The Secret Ingredient will have a tasty menu for you to purchase from. Bring a comfy chair and no glass containers allowed.
Mon. 11/1 – Our activity rooms are opening up and we hope you take time to visit each room and learn a new hobby! Ceramics, Computer Lab (9am-12pm), Sewing/Quilting (8:30am to 4pm Mon-Thu., Sat. & Sun. 10-2pm ), Stained Glass (9am-12pm & 1pm-3:45pm).
Tickets Available –
We have 2 Hale Theatre tickets available for Mary Poppins performance on Fri. 11/19 at 3pm. They are not side by side and are $32 each.
Our first dance will be held on Sat. 11/13 at the Hole in the Wall, 7-10pm. JC & Laney will be performing a variety of music along with a little banter. htttps://www.jcandlaney.com. You can also visit their FB site or youtube. Tickets are $10 in advance and $11 at the door. Open to Sundance residents and Fairways at this time.
Thanksgiving dinner tickets are on sale in Activities for $10 each. Dessert will be potluck style and our meal will be prepped and served by the Secret Ingredient team from our kitchen. Sign up in Activities to reserve your seat.
Currently available for purchase are tickets for The Christmas Carol at The Hale Theatre on Sat. 12/11, 2pm performance. Tickets are $44 each.
Come to Activities and sign up for our Thursday Scramble by Monday 11/1 at 4pm. $2 per person and we have limited availably at this time. Course fee for 9 holes is $25 with cart and $17 if you are walking.
If you have a Rzr and would like to participate in the Tuesday rides or even wish to ride along, come to Activities and we will provide you with contact info. There is a good chance that a ride will be scheduled for Tue.11/2.
