Pool Reminders –

With the weather warming pool use is increasing.  Ladies and gents, please wear cover ups when going to and from the pool. Do not walk around the main complex or into any buildings without being covered and dry.  Drips create slips and we want everyone to be safe.

Shower Notes –

Please do not color your hair in our showers as it gets on the curtains as it is very difficult to remove it.  Hair coloring can be done at your unit or professionally,  by one of the many salons in town.

Activity Notes –

Thank you to everyone who came to the Valentine’s event…. we hope you had a magical evening!

Caywood Farm Tag-Along is today!  Leave the park at 12:30pm for your 1pm presentation and tour.  You can also pack a picnic lunch and go early as there are tables for you to use.  It’s going to be a lovely day for the tour and Nancy the owner has a little something special for you!

Smoke Signal articles are due in the Activity office by Sunday 2/20.  All residents/guest, Coordinators, and groups are encouraged to submit news about the events that have occurred or will being happening.  If you don’t send it, we can’t put it in the Smoke Signal.  Email to sundance1activities@hotmail.com .

Outdoor Fun –

Providing the wind cooperated, Shuffleboard is 9:30am, Water volleyball at 1pm Pool 1 and the RC Racers are at the track at 1pm as well.  Pickleball has their play scheduled and it is posted in Activities or at the courts.

Softball News –

Both Sundance teams play today!  Colts will be at the Robson Ranch Field at 10:15am taking on the Robson Ranch Roadrunners.  Mustangs will play the Palm Creek Bison at 12:45pm at the Palm Creek Field.  Go Colts and Mustangs!

Monday 2/14  Jammers will be at the Hole in the Wall at 6:30pm

Tuesday 2/15  Breakfast will be served 6-8am by the Duffie Duo.  Round Up Meeting at 8:30am featuring park news, morning munchies, beverages, and drawings.  Bingo is played at the Hole in the Wall at 7pm with card sales 6-6:45pm. Name badges required.  Sundance and Fairways along with registered guests are invited. Please pay with small currency. Sorry no alcohol or public allowed.

Wednesday 2/16 Lunch will be available 11-1:30pm at the Hole in the Wall.  Michigan Potluck will be at 4pm with set up at 3:30pm at the Hole in the Wall.

Thursday 2/17  Dinner will be served 4-6pm by Dining with the Duffies at the Hole in the Wall.

Friday 2/18 Lunch will be available at the Hole in the Wall 11am-1:30pm.  Musical Review Rock & Roll Show will be at 6:30pm at the Hole in the Wall.

Saturday 2/19  MGN will have an open house at the Ranch House 10am-3pm.  The Missouri potluck will be in the Hang Out room at 3:30-5:30pm with set up at 3pm.  Sundance Sock Hop will be at the Hole in the Wall with burger and hot dog baskets available for purchase at 5pm and the Hop will be 6:30pm. Costumes encouraged but not required to join in on the fun, music, contests and prizes. $5 tickets are available at the Activity Office.

Room Fun! –

Art Barn today will have painting 1-3:45pm.  Acrylics, watercolors and oils are invited to work on projects!

Gamblin’ Room – Mah Jongg at 10am, Bridge at 1pm, Hand Foot & Toes at 6:30pm.

Hang Out – Cactus Needles at 10am, Crafty Ladies at 1pm, Ping Pong at 7pm.

Hole in the Wall – Walk Exercise 9am, Senior Stretch 10:30am Musical review show practice at 12pm, Jammers at 6:30pm.

Ranch House Meetin’ Room – Beginner Origami class making shamrocks at 1pm.

New Class –

Intro to Photo Shop will be offered 11am-12pm at the Gamblin’ Room beginning Saturday 2/26.  No sign up is required and if you have photo shop on your computer, please bring it.

Cancellations/Changes –  Line Dancing class will not be held Tuesday 2/15.  Card making class for Friday 2/18 is cancelled.  On Tuesdays, the Art Barn will open at 10am, not 9am.

Town Council has 3 positions available and you still have time to complete the self-nomination form and return it to the box in the  Activity  office before Monday 2/21.  Voting will be on Tuesday 3/1 at 9:15-11am at the gazebo.
