Speed limit is 15mph throughout our community for all motorized vehicles, golf carts, scooters and bicycles. Do stop at all marked intersections in the park and always check to make sure that your lights are in good working order.
MGN Sales reminds everyone to resist the temptation in entering homes that are in the process of being placed on sites. This is a liability concern and is not practicing good neighbor etiquette.
Fun & More Fun!
Happy Hour will be at Pool 1 Patio at 4-6pm. Bob Villa will be our entertainment and the Sundance Café will have a light menu prepared by Dining with the Duffies, that will be available for purchase. Bring a comfy chair if you like along with your choice of beverage. No glass containers and donations to Activities and Bob are greatly appreciated. Dress for the cooler temps too.
Tonight, Ceramics, Lapidary, and Stained Glass will be open 6-8:30pm. Everyone is encouraged to come on in and work on your projects or start a new one. We are help you to learn a new hobby!
Today –
Gamblin’ Room – Mah Jongg is at 1pm. RC Cars your meeting is at 4pm. 6:30pm Cribbage and Progressive Hand & Foot are played.
Hang Out Room – Dessert Theatre casting will be at 9am. Everyone is encouraged to stop by a take a look at the script to see what part you would like to play. We will have plenty of time to rehearse as our production will take place at the end of February. We do have non-speaking parts available and behind the scenes positions that need to be filled. See you there!
Euchre will be played at 7pm.
Hole in the Wall – Walk Exercise is at 9am and Senior Stretch is at 10:30am. Let’s get moving!
Ranch House Meetin’ Room – 9am the Town Council will meet.
Thursday –
Art Barn has Open Art 9am-12pm and 1-3:45pm. Any art form project is invited and we are happy to show you what additional things you can learn to do.
Gamblin’ Room – 9am Hand Foot & Toe is played and Pinochle is at 1pm. Dominoes is at 7pm and anyone who wishes to learn any of these games are encouraged to come on in.
Hang Out Room – Reserved in the morning and at 3:30pm Darts is played. If you are interested in playing, we do have darts for you to use. Poker is at 6pm.
Hole in the Wall – Walk Exercise is at 9am and Line dancing takes place at 1:30pm. There is a $2 fee for the class.
Ranch House Meetin’ Room – Bridge is played at 7pm.
Shuffleboard is played Monday -Wednesday and Friday at (:30am. This is a very popular activity and you are encouraged to arrive early. Only 0.50 to play for the day and if you don’t know how we are happy to teach you!
Tai Chi is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at the Pool 1 Patio at 10am. If you want to improve your balance this is the right activity for you!
Water Volleyball is played Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 1pm at Pool 2. Join us for great fun and exercise. Pool shoes are encouraged to be worn however do not wear them to and from the pool as the debris may cause damage to the filtering equipment.
Pickleball schedules are out and available in Activities. Beginner lessons are at 11am on Thursdays and we have the equipment for you to use. Please wear closed toed shoes.
Time is running out to sign up for a free hearing screening by Hearing Life. They will be here at the Ranch House Meetin’ Room on Friday, 12/10 beginning at 9am. Open appointments are available.
SkyMed will be here on Tuesday 12/14 offering a pizza lunch/seminar at 11:30am in the Hang Out Room. Sign up is in Activities.
Back by popular demand ….Chair Massage by Mandy. $10 fee and sign up for your personal appointment time at the Ranch House Meetin’ Room on Thursday 12/16, 8am-1pm. Appointments will fill quickly so don’t wait!
Sundance Christmas Dinner tickets are available at $12 per person and will include your table service, meal dessert and drink. We do have limited seating and sign-up ends on Friday 12/17.
Tag-Alongs – Hale Theatre musical comedy Chaps! Tickets are $32 each and the show is on Friday 1/7 at 4pm. We also have another Caywood Farm Tour scheduled for Monday 1/17/22. $15 per person at sign up for the 1pm event. Maximum is 30 guests.
Angel Tree gifts are due into the Activity office by this Friday 12/10. We do have a couple of Angels that have a few things left on their wish list.
The Sundance Mustangs Softball Team split their double header yesterday. They won the first game 19-11 over the Palm Creek Razorbacks and in the second game in the bottom of the 8th inning suffered a loss 17-16 to the Robson Ranch Rangers. The Mustangs are currently in 3rd place in league standings with 7 wins, 6 losses. The last gem of the fall season will be Thursday 12/9 at 11:30am against the Palm Creek Renegades at the Palm Creek field. Come cheer us on!
Reminder! Sundance Community wide patio sales is this Saturday, 12/11. Time to clean up and out or shop for something new for you. 8am-Noon and this is an advertised event where the public is invited.
