Today is going to be a BUSY DAY!

Round Up Meeting is at 8:30am at the Hole in the Wall and our speaker/sponsor will be Tania from Amazing dental.  All park residents/guests are encouraged to attend to learn about park news and upcoming events!  There will be a few special announcements so  we hope to see you there. Morning munchies and coffee are available and we will have door prizes too!

Right after the meeting on/or around 9:15am VOTING will begin for three Town Council positions that are available. Voting time is today ONLY,  9:15-11am.

In honor of Mardi Gras, Dining with the Duffies lunch will be Gumbo and Rice $10 or Po’boys and Fries (choice of shrimp , catfish, or chicken $10.  Join us at the Hole in the Wall 11am-1:30pm.

Shamrock Farms tour tag-along should leave the park around 12pm today.

Bingo is tonight with card sales at 6-6:45pm and game starts at 7pm.  Name badges are required, Sundance, Fairways and registered guests are welcome.  Please pay with small currency.  No alcohol allowed and this event is closed to the public.

Room Schedules today

Art Barn has Fiber Art aka spinning at 10am and at 1pm the room has Fiber Art or any type of art projects.

Gamblin’ Room has Wood carving at 9am, 9:30am 5 Crowns, Samba t 6:30pm and pinochle at 7pm.

Hang Out Room is reserved in the morning  and Darts is played at 3:30pm and Poker at 6pm.

Hole in the Wall has the above events along with Line Dancing at 1:30pm.  Reminder no Line dance class will be held on Thursday and our Get Together is set for Friday 3/18 at 6pm at the Hole in the Wall.

Ranch House Meetin’ Room has Hardanger (charted needlework) at 1pm.

Wednesday 3/2

Plan on joining us at 3pm at Pool 1 Patio to celebrate our Sundance residents who are 90+ years young!  This will be a short program and everyone should bring a comfy chair.  Light refreshments will be served afterwards.

Computer Club Meeting is in the Hang Out Room at 9am.

Spruce up your wardrobe by checking out New Image Fashions who will be at the Hole in the Wall at 10am-2pm.  They offer clothes, accessories, swimsuits and more!

Lunch will be served at the Hoel in the Wall 11am-1:30pm  by Dining with the Duffies with a Baked Potato bar $10  Chef’s choice soup $8  Chef’s choice salad $8  add chicken $10.

Thursday 3/3

Sundance Blood drive at the Hole in the Wall starting at 8:30am.  Appointments are filling in nicely.

Lunch will be at the Hole in the Wall 11am-1:30pm featuring Hot Roast Beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy $10  Chef’s choice soup $8  Chef’s choice salad $8  add chicken $10.

Sundance Solos will meet at 1pm in the Hang Out Room.  All singles are invited to join us.

IL-IN-OH-DE Potluck will be in the Hole in the Wall at 4:30pm.  Please bring table service, beverage and dish to share.  Sign up is in Activities.  WI Potluck is in the Gamblin’ Room at 4:30pm.

Friday 3/4

Our last Country Store of the season will be at the Hole in the Wall and outside 9am-12pm.  Breakfast and lunch will be available by the Duffies beginning at 8am.  Come out and support these great small businesses.

The Jerry & Judy Show needs some Sundance love.  Tickets are $10 and you will be thoroughly entertained by this couple.  They owned and performed at their theater for 18 years at the Lake of the Ozarks resort area.  They specialize in performing the rock’n roll music of the 50’ and 60’s and will be doing their Back to the 60’[s show for us!  They feature outstanding vocals and instrumental versatility.

Saturday 3/5

The Sundance community patio sales will be 8am-12pm.  This event is advertised and the public is invited.

The Duffie Duo will be on Wheels and have breakfast sandwiches available for purchase $6.  Donuts and coffee will also be available at $1 each.

Later this month

St. Patrick’s Day dinner will be on Thursday 3/17 served up by the Duffies!  Tickets are on sale now $16 each and menu is Corned Beef brisket and cabbage with potatoes and carrots, homemade cupcake and tea or lemonade to drink.  This year we will be having table numbers.  Take out will be 3:30-4pm only  Social is at 4:30-5pm  with Dinner service starting at 5pm.
