News Notes-
Well, it that time of the year when cold and flu are out and about. If you’re under the weather, take a few days off from activities and take care of yourself. Keep washing your hands often and cover any coughs or sneezes.
Aluminum cans are accepted at site 171 in Sundance 1. They are accepted in crushed or uncrushed form. All proceeds are donated to the Sundance / Fairways Veterans to help them support local veteran projects. #1 plastic bottles can be dropped off at site #19 in Sundance 2. Please only #1 bottles are accepted. They will be taken to the Humane Society and proceeds will help them purchase food and other supplies for the animals.
If you haven’t updated your emergency contact info with the Main office, come to Activities for an easy to complete form. You can complete it and drop it in the Main office drop box in the mail room hall.

This morning at 9am the Town Council will meet at the Ranch House Meetin’ Room.
Intermediate/Advanced Beginner Mandala Dot Painting class will be held at 9am at the Art Barn. Sign up was required for this class and if you can’t make it, please reach out to the instructor right away as there is a waiting list.
Mah Jongg is played in the Gamblin’ Room this afternoon at 1pm RC Cars will have their meeting at 4pm. Cribbage and Progressive Hand & Foot will be played at 6:30pm.
Hang Out will have Euchre at 7pm.
Hole in the Wall – 9am for Walk Exercise. Senior Stretch is at 10:30am.
Lunch will be served by Dining with the Duffies 11am-1:30pm, Taco Salad and tacos!
Dessert Theater will have rehearsal at 1pm.
Shuffleboard will be on the courts at 9:30am and everyone is invited to come and play. Fee is 0.50. RC Racers will be on the track at 1pm and if you’re interested in this hobby, come on out and see what fun we have!
Join us this afternoon at Pool 1 Patio at 4-6:30pm for Karaoke by George. Bring your comfy chair and favorite beverage along with your vocals for a great evening! No glass containers allowed in patio, pool or spa area. Dining with the Duffies will be serving up appetizers which will be available for purchase. See you there!
Thursday 1/13-
Art Barn offers open Art all day 9am-12pm and 1-3:45pm. You can bring in whatever project you are working on and enjoy the company of fellow artist.
Gamblin’ Room – Hand Foot & Toe will be played at 9am. Don’t forget to sign up for the February tournament at one of the regular play days. Pinochle will play at 1pm and Dominoes will play at 7pm.
Hang Out Room – Trio Practice will be at 9am. Sundance Solos will meet at 1pm. Darts is at 3:30pm and Poker is at 6pm.
Hole in the Wall – Walk Exercise is at 9am. Couples Pattern Dance is TBA Lunch will be served by Dining with the Duffies at 11am-1pm . Line Dance is at 1:30pm and Dessert Theater will have rehearsal at 3:30pm.
Billiards will have tournament play at 9am. Men and women are invited to join us any day of the week.
Sundance Softball teams will be playing each other at the Palm Creek Field at 9am. Be sure to come on out and cheer them on to victory!
Saturday will be a busy day with the Activity Expo at 9am at the Hole in the Wall. This is a perfect opportunity to learn more about our rooms, clubs and activities. You’re invited to come to breakfast at 8am served up by Dining with the Duffies. Come later and grab a bite of lunch as they will be serving until 1pm. Round out the evening by attending our dance presented by the Classic Example Band. This group plays country, R&B, classic rock and more! Tickets are $10 on sale in Activities!
