Thank you to everyone who came out for the Bike Blessing on Sunday. We definitely had more participants this year than last year.
Coordinators, please get your table reservations made for the Activity Expo at the Hole in the Wall on Saturday 1/15 9am-12pm This is a great way to showcase your group, club or room to all of our guests. Dining with the Duffies will have breakfast and lunch available for purchase.
This Saturday 1/15 we have Classic Example band playing Country, R&B, classic Rock and more. Tickets are $10 each and we hope you join us for an evening of music and dance. Bring your own beverage or purchase one of ours.
Today 1/10 at the Hole in the Wall 10am-2pm we will have a fashion sale. Stop on by and check out the variety of clothes and accessories available for you to purchase.
Join us at Pool 1 Patio on Wednesday afternoon 4=6:30pm for Karaoke by George. Dining with the Duffies will be serving a lighter food fare. Bring your vocals and favorite beverage and let’s belt out some song! Reminder no glass containers allowed in or around pool or spa area. If you prefer your comfy chair, you may want to bring that too!
Don’t Forget to sign up today for the SkyMed lunch seminar to be held in the Hang Out Room at 11:30am. Hearing Life will be here conducting free screenings on Thursday 1/20 at the Ranch House Meetin’ Room. We still have a nice selection of appointment times to choose from.
Art Barn will have all types of painting being done at 1pm . Bring your project and let’s exchange ideas and tips.
Gamblin’ Room has Mah Jongg at 10am. Bridge is at 1pm. The Hand Foot & Toe Tournament starts at 6pm and all participants should arrive prior to 6pm.
Sundance /Fairways Veterans will meet this morning at 9am in the Hang Out Room. All branches of the miliarty are invited to the meeting. Crafty Ladies will be working on crafts at 1pm. Ping Pong is played at 7pm.
Hole in the Wall has the Fashion sale at 10am-2pm. Jammers will be playing at 6:30pm.
Cactus Needles will be meeting at the Ranch House Meetin’ Room at 10am due to the Veterans meeting in the Hang Out Room. Next Monday they will be back in the Hang Out Room as usual. Dessert Theater will have rehearsal at 1pm in the Ranch House Meetin’ Room.
Tuesday 1/11-
Round Up Meeting will be at 8:30am at the Hole in the Wall. This is a great way to learn about upcoming events in the park along with news! We have morning munchies and beverages for you to enjoy. Couples Dance will be at 10am a fee is $2 per couple. Linda Dance is at 1:30pm with a $2 fee. Bingo will be played at 7pm and card sales are at 6-6:45pm. Name badges are required and we ask that you pay with small currency. No alcohol or public is invited, only Sundance and Fairways guests.
Secret Ingredient food trailer will be at pull through 688 11am-1:30pm.
There will be NO Fiber Art at the Art Barn today. Beginner Watercolor class is at 1pm. Sign up was required and don’t forget to bring your short list of supplies to class. At 6pm the second Beginner Watercolor class will be held. Sign up was required for this class as well.
Check out the Wood Carvers in the Gamblin’ Room at 9am All skill levels are invited to join us and we also have beginner projects available for you to try as well! 5 Crowns will be played at 9:30am Samba is played at 6:30pm and Pinochle is at 7pm.
SkyMed will be hosting their lunch seminar at the Hang Out Room at 11:30am. Darts will be played at 3:30pm.
Hardanger will be at 1pm in the Ranch House Meetin’ Room. This is a form of needlework and if you work on other types, please feel free to join us.
The next Rzr Ride will meet Tuesday 1/11 at the McDonald’s in Florence at 8:30am. On the last ride we rode 83 miles with a few route challenges and mechanical failures.
Both Sundance Softball teams were victorious again last Thursday! The Colts defeated the Mission Royale Titans 13-4 and the Mustangs defeated the Palm Creek Bisons 16-13. Both Teams are now 2-0 in league play. The schedule this week is as follows: Monday 1/10 the Mustangs play the Robson Rangers at 11:30am at the Palm Creek Field. Thursday 1/14 both Sundance Teams will be playing each other at the Palm Creek Field at 9am. We hope that we see you cheering on our teams to victory!
Please note that the Musical Review 50’s Rockabilly Show will be on Friday 1/21 at 6:30pm only.
Later this month we will be having Casino Night on Friday 1/28, and Josh West Band (The Voice ) will be playing great tunes for us to dance to on Sat 1/29.
A card and gift sales will be held at 9am in the Hole in the Wall on Saturday 1/29. No credit cards accepted, cash or checks only.
Stained Glass shop has another raffle going on! Tickets are $5 for 7 tickets or $1 each. The stain glass picture is of a cactus and sunset and can be viewed at the shop during business hours.
Alaska Potluck sign up sheet is in Activities. Your event will be held on Saturday 2/5 at the Hang Out Room at 4pm.
