We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with all the special people in your life. Sundance Thanksgiving was filled with great company, laughter, fellowship and good food! Thank you to everyone who helped with clean up.
Reminders –
Pick up your mail often and always bring your key. With the holidays upon us mail increases and we only have so much space to accommodate mail and packages.
Speed limit is 15mph throughout our Sundance community. This applies to all vehicles, electric, gas, two-wheeled or four wheeled. Stop signs mean stop and we ask that everyone abide by them.
Please refrain from wearing cologne or perfume while in the park. The fragrances may cause health events for other Sundance residents.
Spa 2 is closed through the first week in December. If we can open sooner, we will let you know.
Today in the Art Barn the Advanced Beginner/Intermediate Mandala Dot Painting class is at 1pm. Sign was required for this class.
Gourd Shop is open today for Open Session. Beginner class starts on Monday 11/29 and sign up is required.
Gamblin’ Room has Wood Carving at 9am and if you are interested stop on in. Samba is played at 1pm and Pegs & Jokers at 7pm
Jam practice in the Hang Out at 8:30am and Crafty Ladies will be at 1pm
Walk off your Thanksgiving meal by attending Walk Exercise at the Hole in the Wall at 9am then do Senior Stretch at 10:30am.
Tai Chi will be at 10am on the Pool 1 Patio.
Water Volleyball is at 1pm at Pool 2.
Shuffleboard is played at 9:30am. 0.50 for a day of play and we hope to see you there!
Sat. 11/27 Don’t forget if you made appointment for a seated chair massage, it will be at the Ranch House Meetin’ Room. You should have received a card with your appointment time. If you need to confirm your time, stop in at Activities.
We will show a movie at the Hole in the Wall at 7pm. Stop in at Activities for title info. Bring a comfy chair and snacks for an enjoyable evening.
Gamblin’ Room will have Mah Jongg played at 1pm, Hand Foot & Toe at 6:30pm and Pinochle at 7pm
Sun. 11/28 Join us for non-denominational services at the Hole in the Wall at 8:30am
Gamblin’ Room will have Texas Hold’em at 4pm and Dominoes at 7pm.
Trio practice is at 1pm in the Hang Out Room and Tournament Texas Hold’em’ is at 6pm.
Bridge is played at the Ranch House Meetin’ Room at 7pm.
We have 2 raffles going on and you can purchase tickets in Activities. Check out the four USA made items that the Sundance/Fairways Veterans are offering. Stained Glass has a beautiful stepping stone and tickets for either raffle is 7 for $5 or $1 each.
Stain Glass is offering a Mosaic class that will be three sessions. You must attend the first session. They will be held on Mondays, 12/6, 13, and 20th at 1pm. Maximum of 6 and sign up is required.
Casino Night will be held on Friday, 1/28/22. We are need of volunteers and if you have volunteered in the past, come on back! We are also looking for ‘white elephant’ gifts. Please contact Michele Traphagan or drop off donations on the front porch of site 62 in Sundance 2.
Are you interested in trains? Big or little, it doesn’t matter. Sign up in Activities if you would like to network with others with the same interest.
Don’t forget the Toy Drive starts Saturday 11/27 through Friday 12/3 for the 35th Annual Casa Grande Toy Parade and Auction. Please drop off your new, unwrapped donations (no stuffed animals) at site 564 on Newman.
