Maintenance Notes – Great news! Pool 2 & spa are up and running!
Time is running out on the following –
Today is the last day to purchase your Sundance Christmas Dinner tickets. They $12 each and do include your table service, meal, dessert and drink. You can bring your beverage of choice if you prefer.
Sundance decorating contest ballots must be returned to the Activity office by this Saturday, 1/18 before closing. Winners will be announced at the Tuesday 12/21 Round Up Meeting!
Smoke Signal articles need to be in the office by Monday 12/20. We are expecting a large influx of guests next month so this is a great time to spotlight your group, club or resident/guest info.
Sundance /Fairways Veterans raffle tickets need to be purchased by Monday 12/20 before the Activity office closes at 4pm. Winners announced at the Round Up Meeting on Tuesday, 12/21! $5 for 7 or $1 each and items are display in Activities.
Monday, 12/20 is the last day to reserve your seats for the Friday, 1/7/22 performance of Chaps at the Hale Theatre. Tickets are $32 each. This is a hilarious musical comedy and there isn’t a bad seat in the complex.
The Sundance Mustang Softball team finished end of year tournament in second place! In the semi-final game the Mustangs defeated the Robson Ranch Rangers 31-18 thanks to a 10-run 7th inning by the Mustangs. In the Championship game the Mustangs lost to the Palm Creek Cobras 19-6. The Mustangs finished the season with 11 wins and 8 losses. The Winter season starts on Tuesday 1/4/22 and Sundance will have TWO teams, the Mustangs and the Colts! Thanks to the Sundance community for all of your support the games as you really have a positive impact for the players. We will post the Winter league schedule in the Activities office as soon as it is finalized.
Line Dance is on break for 2 weeks, class will resume Tuesday, 1/4/22 at 1:30pm at the Hole in the Wall.
Tonight, is the Boot-Scoot & Boogie Show at 6:30pm at the Hole in the Wall. Everyone is invited to attend this foot stompin’ show and put on your dancing shoes as we will have room for that too! Donation-based entry of $1 and we hope to see you there!
Stained Glass has a raffle going for a beautiful stepping stone. Winner will be announced in January, so come on in to the Activity office and purchase tickets, $5 for 7 or $1 each! Only takes one to win!
Today –
Art Barn hosts the Intermediate/advanced Beginner class in Mandala Dot Painting at 1pm. Sign up was required and we hope to see you there.
Gamblin’ Room has the Wood Carvers at 9am, Samba is played at 1pm and Pegs & Jokers at 7pm.
The Hang Out has the Jam practice at 8:30am, Crafty Ladies at 1pm .
Hole in the Wall hosts Walk Exercise at 9am and Senior Stretch is at 10:30am. Boot-Scoot & Boogie show is at 6:30pm.
Ranch House Meetin’ Room has the Card Making class at 1pm. Sign up was required on this class.
Shuffleboard is played at 9:30am.
Tai Chi will be at 10am at Pool 1 Patio. NOTE: This is our last class for this year.
Water Volleyball is at Pool 2 at 1pm.
Saturday 12/18 –
Photo Club meets at 9am in the Gamblin’ Room. 1pm Mah Jongg is played. 6:30pm, we have Pinochle and Hand Foot & Toe being played. Don’t forget to sign up for the Hand Foot & Toe tournaments scheduled in January and February!
Bunco will be at 6:30pm in the Hang Out Room. $3 to play.
Join us for a classic Christmas movie at the Hole in the Wall at 7pm. Title is in Activities. Bring your comfy chair, snacks and beverage for an enjoyable evening.
Sunday 12/19 –
Caroling through our Sundance community will begin on or around 6pm. If you would like to sing with us, please gather in front of Activities at 5:30pm.
Sundance Church nondenominational services are held at 8:30am and the Sundance community is invited to attend. We also will be having a Candle Light service on Friday 12/24 at 6:30pm.
Gamblin’ Room has Texas Hold’em at 4pm and Dominoes at 7pm.
Hang Out has Trio Practice at 1pm and Tournament Texas Hold’em at 6pm.
We have many sign-ups in the Activity office so please stop in to see what is available to you. We also have an activity survey and other sign ups for Bocce Ball, Woodworking shop and more!
