Chilly Monday with Warm Hearts at Sundance!

There was a whole lot of twisting and shouting going on at the Sundance Sock Hop on Saturday night and we are so glad that you had a great time!  Thank you for making this a fun evening!

New News ! –  Celebrating our 90+ Sundance residents on Wednesday 3/2 at 3pm at Pool 1 patio with introductions and dessert to follow. Come out and join the fun as we have seven residents who are 90-97 years young!  If weather doesn’t cooperate, we will be in the Hole in the Wall.

Intro to Photo Shop class will be offered at 11am-12pm in the Gamblin’ Room beginning Saturday 2/26 through March.  No sign up or fee is needed and you should bring your lap top if you have the Photo Shop program already loaded.

A five week Bible study  will be held on Wednesdays  in March at the Hang Out room.  Please write the varied times that the study is scheduled.  March 2  2pm-3:30pm,  March 9  10-11:30am,  March 16 9-10:30am, March 23 10-11:30am  March 30 10-11:30am.

Meet your Town Council candidates at the Round Up Meeting 8:30am at the Hole in the Wall this Tuesday 2/22!  Each candidate will be introduced and tell a bit about himself/herself.  Good luck to all!

Tournaments –

Shuffleboard starts at 9:30am sharp so be sure to be arrive 10-15 minutes ahead of time.

Tonight is the last Hand Foot & Toe tournament for the season.  Remember that we start at 6pm in the Gamblin’ Room and there is a $1 entry fee for each participant. If you have not already signed-up and would like to play, come at 5:45pm and you will be able to play if there are open spots.

Sundance Softball starts post season tournament play today with the Mustangs playing at the Robson Ranch Field at 10:15am  taking on the Mission Royale Titans or the Palm Creek Bison.  The Colts will play at 11:30am at the Palm Creek Filed against the Robson Ranch Rangers.  Thanks to all the Sundance supporters who have supported us, we do appreciate it!

Quilt Show- 

The Hole in the Wall and Hang Out Room will be closed on Friday 2/25 to allow for the set up.  No morning coffee will be held on Friday or Saturday mornings in the Hang Out Room  Jam practice will not be held in the Hang Out room on Friday morning.  The show will be held on Saturday 2/26 9am-3pm at the Hole in the Wall.   The Hang Out Room will offer many handmade raffle items.  Lunch will be available by the Duffie Duo and dining will be on the Pool 1 Patio.  No food or drink will be allowed in the rooms during the show.  We hope you will come and check out the beautifully sewn items that so many have worked on.

Sign-ups and Tickets –

Silver Creek Band will be playing a nice variety of dance music and country is their sweet spot so we hope everyone will come out on Saturday 2/26 at the Hole in the Wall 6:30-9:30pm.  Tickets are $10 now $11 at the door.

Sundance Blood Drive will be held on Thursday 3/3 at the Hole in the Wall beginning at 8:30am-12:30pm.  Appointment times are filling in so come to the Activity office to select your time.

SkyMed will be hosting a lunch seminar on Tuesday 3/8 in the Hang Out Room at 11:30am.  You are under no obligation to purchase and interested couples or individuals are invited to attend.

Hearing Life will have a free screening on Friday 3/11 at the Ranch House.  Appointment times are available to fit your busy schedule.

Room Schedules –

Art Barn will open at 1pm to all forms of painting.  If you use watercolor, oils or acrylics, bring in your project and paint with us!

Hang Out will have Cactus Needles at 10am  Crafty Ladies at 1pm and Ping Pong at 7pm.

Hole in the Wall is busy with Walk Exercise at 9am, Senior Stretch 10:30am, Musical Review practice at 12pm and Jammer at 6:30pm.

Gamblin’ Room has Mah Jongg at 10am  Bridge at 1pm and hand Foot & Toe Tournament at 6pm.

Outdoor Fun-

Shuffleboard tournament at 9:30am,  Tai Chi at 10am, Water Volleyball 1pm at Pool 2, RC Racers are at the track at 1pm and Pickleball has play throughout the morning and afternoon.

Western Days –

We are still looking for a couple of Coordinators and plan on having a meeting in a couple of days, so stop in the Activity office to see what event you would like to coordinate.
