When you arrive at Sundance, give the Main office a call (520-426-9662) to let us know you are here. All new community members are encouraged to take a free park tour once you are settled in. It is well worth your time to learn more about what Sundance offers. If you have new neighbors, make sure you mention the park tours to them!
We can do better Sundance. The St. Vincent de Paul bin in Sundance 1 trash bin area is for aluminum only. Please DO NOT place bags of household donations in the bin as it fills it quickly and makes it difficult for their staff to empty. They will gladly accept household donations at 405 E 2nd St in downtown Casa Grande.
Name Badges have many purposes and are needed to participate in any activities. It is a safety net should you have a medical event and are unable to communicate to first responders. It also tells other residents that you are a member of our great community. Please wear them.
Tuesday Fun –
Round Up meeting will be at the Hole in the Wall at 8:30am providing you with morning munchies, refreshments and park news. Everyone is encouraged to attend and you may win a gift too!
Rzr Riders are meeting at the McDonald’s in Florence and will be headed to the Ripsey Mine. Bring a flashlight if you plan on exploring the mine itself.
Orientation to Fiber Art/Spinning will be at the Art Barn at 10am. Open art is at 1pm
Wood Carving happens at the Gamblin’ Room at 9am Progressive Hand & Foot is at 9:30am. Samba play is at 6:30pm and Pinochle is at 7pm.
Hang Out Room has Darts at 3:30pm. If you interested in joining us, we do have darts available for use. Poker starts at 6pm.
Line Dance is at 1:30pm at the Hole in the Wall. Fee is $2 per class.
Hardanger (Needlework) is at the Ranch House Meetin’ Room at 1pm. They will be offering classes and you don’t need to sign up, just come to the Meetin’ Room.
December –
Friday 12/3 is our Country Store in the Hole in the Wall and around Pool 1. We are expecting 55+ crafters to help you with holiday shopping.
Later Friday evening, will be our preview of our truck entry in the Casa Grande Electric Light Parade and decorated golf cart parade throughout our Sundance community. Dress warm, decorate your cart or bike and join us in spreading the Christmas spirit. Line up begins at 5:30pm in the Ranch House parking lot and we will roll off at 6pm.
Saturday night 12/4 is the Electric Light Parade on Florence Blvd. This is a fun event with wonderfully decorated floats and awesome bands. Step off is at 5:45pm. We hope you will attend and vote for Sundance entry #14!
DAUBERS UP! Yes, you read that right! Sundance Bingo is back and ready to play on Tuesday, 12/7 with Bingo card sales starting at 6pm until 6:45pm. Name badges will be required and if you don’t have yours on, you will have to go back home and get it. NO alcohol is allowed in the room when Bingo is played and we ask that you pay with small bills.
Our next Hale Theatre Tag-Along will be for Chaps on Friday, 1/7 at 4pm and tickets are $32 each. A musical set in 1944 with the singing cowboy Tex Ritter and troupe. Check out their website at https://haletheatrearizona.com .
December class sign ups are out in Activities. From Card Making, Beginner Crocheting to Mosaic stained glass, we have something for everyone!
Are you interested in trains? Doesn’t matter if you enjoy models or the real thing! Sign up in Activities to network with others that have the same interest. We also have sign up for other things including Bocce Ball.
It’s not too late to sign up for our Organ Stop Pizza Tag-Along for Wednesday 12/15. We do need you to sign up so we can keep the business apprised on how many guests will be attending. Payment is at the door.
Christmas dinner will be held at the Hole in the Wall on Saturday, 12/25 with Social at 3:30pm, dinner at 4pm. Tickets are $12 per person which will include all table service, meal, dessert and drink, unless you prefer to bring your own beverage. Menu is Ham, scalloped potatoes, fried corn, cornbread muffins and peach cobbler for dessert. Coffee and unsweetened ice tea will be your drink offerings. Sign up before Friday 12/17. Doors open at 3:15pm.
