Another brisk, but beautiful day in our Sundance community!

Has someone in the park been kind to you or went that “extra mile”? Come to Activities and pick up a Random Acts of Kindness Nomination Form.  Beginning now until Wed. Nov. 11 you can nominate someone in the park who has demonstrated an act of kindness.  On or around the 13th of each month random nomination(s) will be drawn and the nominee(s) will receive a small gift and acknowledgement.

Let’s have a boo-tacular Halloween on Sat. Oct. 31 at the Hole in the Wall. Wear your best costume and enter our contest for prizes.  George W. Hickman (fb Entertainment by George) will be providing great tunes from several eras. Tickets available in Activities for $2 per person.

Gate Monitors sign up sheet is posted in Activities. There is a wide variety of time slots available to fit everyone’s schedule.

If you’re a golfer, we are taking reservations for the Thu. Golf Scramble on Nov. 05 at Dave White.  Deadline is Mon. Nov. 02 to sign up.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors was started late last season to assist individuals who were sheltered in.  This season the program is to provide temporary help to our residents who may need errands run, groceries picked up and things of that nature.  If you know of someone please let Activities know or stop in for more info.

Still looking for Coordinators for Genealogy, Dominoes, Pegs & Jokers, Hiking and Woodworking.

The Walgreens vaccine sign up is going well and we encourage everyone to sign up. They are offering flu, high dose flu (65 & over), shingles, and pneumonia.

Reminder that cloth masks are required in all park facilities and social distancing is a must. Stay healthy and have fun!
