Let’s get busy Sundance!

Note from Walgreens regarding  all  guests who signed up for the pneumonia and shingles vaccines.  Late word from Walgreens is they have found it difficult to ensure that your insurance covers either one of the vaccines and they ask  that you come into the store to receive your shots.  They will verify your insurance for you prior to administering the vaccine.  They do send their apologies. Please bring all insurance cards with you on Monday 11/8 to the Flu Vaccine Clinic at the Hole in the Wall, 1-3pm.

Yesterday our Sundance Mustangs softball team defeated the Fiesta Grande Scorpions 16-9 and are now 2-0 in league play.  Next game is on Tue. 11/9 at the Palm creek Fields at 9am. Mustangs will play Palm Creek Cobras.  At 10:15am the Mustangs will play Robson Ranch Rangers.  See you there!

Our Country Store will be today, 9am-12pm in the Hole in the Wall and around Pool 1.  Come on out and do a little holiday shopping.  The Secret Ingredient will be cooking in the kitchen serving breakfast and lunch 7am-12pm.

Room Happenings – Gamblin’ Room has Wood Carving at 9am, Samba will be played at 1pm and Pegs & Jokers is at 7pm.  Hang Out will have the Jammers practicing at 8:30 – 11:30am and Crafty Ladies will be in at 1pm.  Ranch House will have the RC Aviators meeting at 10am and Cardmaking class is at 1pm.

Sat. 11/6  –  Photo Club will be meeting in the Gamblin’ Roo, at 9am. Mah Jongg will be at 1pm and in the evening Hand Foot & Toe is played at 6:30 and Pinochle starts at 7pm.

Sun. 11/7 – Sundance Church will be held in the Hole in the Wall at 8:30am. Services are non-denominational and everyone is invited to join us.  Gamblin’ Room will have Texas Hold’em at 4pm, Dominoes is at 6:30pm and Bridge begins at 7pm.  Hang Out Room will have Trio practice at 1pm and tournament Texas Hold’em at 6pm.

Tickets – Sundance Thanksgiving Dinner is $10 per person with dessert as a potluck style.                                                      Hale Theatre production The Christmas Carol on Sat. 12/11 at 2pm are $44.                                                                                We have tickets for our dance on Sat. 11/13 at 7pm in the Hole in the Wall. JC & Laney will be performing for us.  Tickets are $10 each and you can bring your beverage and snacks. Soda and water will be available for purchase.

Sign Up – SkyMed will be here with a free lunch/seminar on Tue at 11:30am.  Hearing Life has appointments available for free screenings at the Ranch House on Fri. 11/12,  Come to Activities to sign up for one or both events.

Are you interested in learning the art of Origami?  If we have enough individuals interested, we will schedule a beginner class.

Mandala Dot Painting is looking to see what you would like to paint on.  The instructor is considering doing a beginner class and an advanced class.  Come to Activities if you are interested.
