Maintenance Notes-
Pool 2 will be closed Thursday 12/16 for a painting project. Please adjust your schedules accordingly.
Mail room asks that you bring your key and check your mail often. With the holidays, mail and parcels do increase and it’s important that you check your mailbox and pick up your packages promptly. Do make sure that you let your friends and relatives know your complete address including your site number. Please note that all “in the park” mail does need full name and site number on the envelope. Any mail going to Sundance 2 does need to have a full address and sent via USPS.
Today-
We hope you will join us at the Round Up meeting at the Hole in the Wall at 8:30am. We supply the coffee and breakfast munchies. This is a perfect way to learn about what is happening in the park!
Rzr Group will be meeting at 8:30am at the McDonald’s in Florence.
The Secret Ingredient food trailer will be at site pull through site 688 at 11am-1:30pm.
If you have signed up for the SkyMed lunch seminar, it will be held in the Hang Out Room at 11:30am.
Line Dancing is at 1:30pm at the Hole in the Wall at 1:30pm. There is a $2 fee for each class.
Bingo will be at 7pm at the Hole in the Wall with card sales at 6-6:45pm. Name badges must be worn and this event is for Sundance and Fairways only. No public is allowed to play, no alcohol is allowed in the building while the game is played. Please pay with small currency if possible. See you there!
Art Barn has Fiber Art (spinning) at 9am-12pm and Open Art 1-3pm.
Gamblin’ Room has Wood Carving at 9am and 5 Crowns at 9:30am. Samba is played at 6:30pm and Pinochle is at 7pm.
SkyMed will be in the Hang Out Room at 11:30am and Darts is played at 3:30pm.
Ranch House Meetin’ Room has Hardanger at 1pm. Anyone interested in learning about this type of needlework is encouraged to stop by.
Shuffleboard Bowling Pin is played today at 9:30am.
Wednesday-
For those who signed up for the Organ Stop Pizza Tag-Along do plan on leaving the park at 8:45am for the 11am lunch.
The Sundance Motorcycle group will be riding to the Dwarf Car Museum outside of Maricopa and then will have lunch at The Little Italy Restaurant. Anyone interested in riding with us is invited to come along. We meet at 10am at the Ranch House.
Gamblin’ Room will have the Sundance Book Club meeting at 9:30am. At 1pm Mah Jongg will be played. Cribbage is at 6:30 along with Progressive Hand & Foot.
Hang Out hosts Euchre at 7pm.
Hole in the Wall has Walk Exercise at 9am and Senior Stretch at 10:30am
Shuffleboard is played at 9:30am. Tai Chi is at 10am at Pool 1 Patio and Water Volleyball is played at 1pm at Pool 2.
Tickets- Sundance Christmas Dinner is $12 each. New Years Eve Dinner only is $22 each. VIP tickets are $32 each and Dance only are $15 each. We also have Chaps tickets available for purchase to the Hale Theatre on Friday 1/7 /22 at 4pm.
Classes – Card Making class is Friday at the Ranch House Meetin’ Room $10 for 4 cards that you personalize. Samples are in Activities. On Friday 12/17 Intermediate/Advanced Beginner Mandala Dot Painting will be a glass jar candle. $10 for the class. Materials supplied and if you have a punch set and a dotting stylus, please bring it with you to class. Sign up for both classes are required.
We have two raffles going on and tickets can be purchased at the Activity office. The Sundance/Fairways Veterans are raffling off 4 different items that are on display in our office. Choose from a quilt, crochet throw, beaded bracelet and a stained-glass picture. $5 will get you 7 tickets or $1 each. Stained Glass is raffling off a beautiful stepping stone. Tickets are $5 for 7 tickets or $1 each.
Get your dancing shoes ready as the Boot-Scoot and Boogies show will be on Friday 12/17 at the Hole in the Wall. Guaranteed to be a foot stompin’ good time! Show is donation based and we hope to see you there!
We will have another golf cart parade to spread Christmas cheer! Join us on Thursday, 12/16 at the Ranch House parking lot at 5:30pm with your decorated carts and bikes. Dress for the weather and let’s have a good time wishing everyone a Merry Christmas!
