Round Up Meeting – Join us every Tuesday morning beginning 10/19 at the Hole in the Wall at 8:30am for coffee, tea, and breakfast munchies!  Learn about news of the park and what great things we have planned.  We also have door prizes too!

Activity Rooms –  As noted in the Smoke Signal please be patient if rooms are not open as expected.  Not all of our Coodinators have arrived just yet or they don’t have enough Monitors to be open.  You are encouraged to stop by the Activity office to see if a room is open.

Art Barn (Bldg # 3) located by the RC track will be open 1  – 2:45pm this afternoon.  Bring your paint projects (watercolors, acrylics, or oils) and exchange ideas!

Ceramics –  They plan on opening on Mon. Nov. 1.  This is due to the lack of Monitors.  If you have interest in becoming a Monitor, stop in the Activity office and we will provide you contact info.

Gourd Shop (Bldg #1) – Sign up in Activities for the orientation class of gourd art scheduled for Mon. 10/25 at 12:30pm and 2pm.  This meeting will take you through the steps on how to transform a gourd into a beautiful work of art!  A beginner class will be held on Mon. Nov. 01.

Lapidary –  This room is on Tonto Street in the same building as Ceramics.  It will be open Tue. 10/19  at 9:15am.  Stop by and see what beautiful creations you can make out of rocks.  If you have knowledge of lapidary, stop by the shop to become a Monitor.

Stained Glass –  We need your help!  Monitors are needed to get our room open!  At this time, we are planning on opening our doors on Mon. 10/25.  Please check our hours that will be posted by our door.  If you are interested in helping, stop by the Activity office and we will provide you with contact info.

Sign Ups –

We have Flu Clinic hosted by Walgreens on Mon. 11/8 1-3pm in the Hole in the Wall. Sign up deadline is Wed. 11/3 in the Activity office.

A progressive Beginner Crochet class will be held at the Art Barn in the month of November on Wednesdays 1-3pm.  Fee is $10 per class and includes your pattern and instruction.  Please sign up in Activities by Wed. 10/27.

Card Making class will be held the first and third Friday of each month at the Ranch House 1-4pm.  Sign up for the next class that will be held Fri. Nov. 3 in Activities.

Smoke Signal Deadline –

Email or drop off articles by Wed. Oct. 20 to the Activity office.  All groups and guests are encouraged to submit articles.

Other News –

Our sister park Fairways has Bingo on Monday evenings beginning at 7pm.  They are located at 2054 N Thornton Rd.
