Koffee Klatch – Monday March 4th at 8:30am in the Hole in the Wall. A representative will speak on Senior Law. Everyone is welcome to join us for coffee. .Donuts are available for purchase. Hear what’s happening in the park!
Family and Friends CPR/AED class will be held on Wednesday, March 6 in the Hole in the Wall. It will be presented by the Casa Grande Fire Dept. at 2pm.
The Wall That Heals , a 375-foot-long replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, will arrive in Dave White Regional Park on Tuesday, March 5th. The memorial’s arrival in Casa Grande is expected to occur at about 4:30pm. As it travels, the procession will pass Sundance 1 and 2 Resorts on the way to Dave White Park across from Fairways RV Park.
We have purchased 150 American Flags for our residents to wave as they watch and salute the parade in front and sides of our gate. We encourage all residents to participate in this patriotic and heartfelt occasion,
The memorial officially opens to the public at 8am on Thursday, March 7 and closing ceremonies begin at 2pm on Sunday the 10th. The memorial will be open 24 hours a day so people may visit anytime.
How to Summerize Your Home while your away. Neighborhood watch safety techniques. These topics will be discussed on Friday, Mar 1 at 2pm in the Hole in the Wall. Officer Tom Anderson from the CG Police Department will be the presenter of this very informational meeting. Everyone is invited.

Saturday Night Dance on March 2 from 7-10pm in the Hole in the Wall features the great music of the Saguaro Sunset Band. Tickets are $9 in advance and $10 at the door.
Hula Classes – Due to Priscella’s foot fracture, all hula classes for the month of March will be canceled. Please check back next January for hula classes. Mahalo!

Are you from Wyoming? You’ve been invited to a 2019 Annual Wyoming Reunion at Dave White Park on Thursday, March 14 at Noon. Just bring a pot luck dish, beverage, table service & Lawn chairs. For more information, see the poster located in the Activities Office.
Town Council Elections This Monday
Elections for town council will be held in the Hole in the Wall after the Monday morning meeting from 9:00 until noon. The following are candidates for the two vacant Town Council position: Julie Aho, Darcus Arnold, Carol Berg and Gerald Smith. They will be introduced at the Monday morning meeting just prior to elections if you’d like to meet them.
To be eligible to vote, you must pay rent to the park for a minimum of 3 months and be a resident of the park on election day. There is only one vote per resident even if more than one property is owned. Please wear your name badge.
If you will be out of the park on Monday you may cast an absentee ballot at either site 155 or 324 both Saturday and Sunday, the 2nd and 3rd, from 1-3pm.
The March Sundance 1 and 2 Patio Sale is tomorrow, Saturday, Mar 2 from 8am to Noon. The gates will be open and the public is welcome. Balloons are available in the Activities Office to designate your site. Your junk is someone else’s treasure!!
Let’s be sure you have a safe trip home! Whitehead’s Tire will be here on Tuesday, Mar 5 starting at 9am to check your tires before you begin your journey. The sign up sheet is in the Activities Office.
On March 4 tickets will be available in the Activities Office for the Hale Theater signup, and the Bethany Owen Show. Be sure to get your tickets as I’m expecting them to fill up quickly.
Library notice –
Tuesday, March 12 at 10:00am is the next meeting for library volunteers. We will work for about 2 hours pulling old books and retagging non-fiction books. We will also discuss summer hours. Hope you can make it. Thank you for the work you do through the year. Happy Reading!

Softball News –
For you die-hard Sundance Softball fans, the different teams in Casa Grande have decided to have a Spring League this year. There will be one Sundance “C” team.
After returning from the Bullhead City Senior Tournament, the first day of play will be Thursday, March 7 at Palm Creek at 9am. The following game times and the park they play in (either Palm Creek or Robson Ranch) will be listed in the Friday Flyer. Games will be played through Thursday, March 28.
The spring schedule is posted in the Activity Office.
Ice Cream Social – Mark your calendars for Sunday, March 3, 2019 at 2pm in the Hole in the Wall. The Activities Staff and Float Volunteers will be serving up banana splits for $4 each. All proceeds will be used to build and decorate next years Christmas float for the Electric Light Parade. Come satisfy your sweet tooth!
Discount Card Sale – This popular card sale will be held tomorrow, Saturday, March 2 from 10-2 in the Hole in the Wall. Come browse and shop for great prices for greeting cards, wrapping paper, and lots more!
Variety Show – This is another annual Sundance show brought to you by your talented neighbors. We sing, tell stories, play our instruments and anything else we can think of to entertain you! This year’s program is on March 6 at 7pm with only a $1 admission. Hope to see you there!
Show and Tell – This annual event will be held Friday, March 8 from 10am to Noon in the Hole in the Wall. Come see all the works of our talented residents as they display what they’ve accomplished this season. Lunch will be available!
