The town council of Sundance 1 RV Park is an elected group of residents formed to be the liaison between the paying residents of the park and the Sundance RV 1 Park management. They meet November through March, with the park management, hearing what is new for the park and sharing thoughts and requests they have received from fellow residents.
Elections for new members for the 2018-2019 season will be held on March 5. To be eligible to be on the town council you must pay rent to Sundance 1 RV Resort on either an annual basis or a seasonal basis of at least 5 months and be in good standing. All are also expected to be in residence at the Sundance 1 RV Resort for the months of November to March and be available for Town Council meetings, which occur on the second Wednesday of each of those months. If you would be interested in running for a position on the town council, interest forms are available in Activities until February 28.

Sundance/Fairways Festival of Quilts
Saturday, February 24, 2018
Mark your calendars for this year’s Festival of Quilts which will present over 190 entries from quilters at Sundance and Fairways. Amongst these are unique quilts, large and small, as well as many “very creative” pieces which will be displayed at the Hole in the Wall from 9am – 3pm. Quilts that will be donated to charitable organizations will also be displayed on the fence surrounding the pool area. Most exciting of all, quilted items will be for sale! Admission is FREE.
Invite your Sundance friends and neighbors and, in fact, everyone you know, to join us between 11:30am and 1:30pm for a delicious lunch. Menu is your choice of a grilled hamburger/cheeseburger (larger this year at 1/3 pound) or a brat. Since we had a “run” on brats last year, we’ve ordered extra brats to insure we don’t “run out” this time. Lunch also includes chips and tea or lemonade. All for just $7. You also may wish to purchase Karen’s delicious homemade Snicker Doodle cookies at 50 cents each. Soda pop will also be available for 50 cents.
This year’s raffle will be for a gorgeous 52” X 60” quilt, along with three other very unique items. Tickets are $1 each, six for $5 or twenty for $10 and will be available at the Monday morning Koffee Klatch (Feb 19) as well as at the Festival. Proceeds from the lunch and raffle are used to purchase fabric and supplies to make quilts for community charities.
Looking forward to seeing you there.
