New Year’s Eve tickets for Dec 31 are available in the Activities Office for $22 each which includes favors and mixers. Our popular entertainers, Gordy and Debbie, will be playing from 8pm to Midnight. Everyone is invited including the public. Remember to get your tickets in advance as they are $25 at the door.

The non-alcoholic New Years Eve Party will be held in the Gamblln’ Room on Dec 31 at 7pm. Please bring snacks to share and your own table service and drinks. There are all types of games to play – cards, jokers, dominoes, and board games of all types. We will have coffee available.

Genealogy will meet Jan 2 at 10am in the Gambling Room. The program will be on Myths & how it relates to Genealogy.

You asked and we answered! Karaoke is scheduled for Friday, January 4 from 6-8pm in the Hole in the Wall. Tickets are $5 each and are available in advance in the Activities Office or at the door. Virgil Heady, a professional dj will be here to keep us busy. Please join us and bring your beverage of choice with munchies if you wish. We’ll see you there!

Saguaro Sunset Band will be entertaining us on Saturday, January 5 from 7-10 in the Hole in the Wall. Tickets are on sale in the Activities Office for $9 in advance or $10 at the door. FYI – they place a great variety of music for everyone to enjoy!

The annual Welcome Back event will be held on Saturday, January 5 from 11am to 1pm in the Hole in the Wall. Come meet the folks who represent their activities in our park. Chat with them and see if you’d be interested in their group. This is a great way to meet new people and join in our fun!

At the request of several residents, another Hale Theater Tag-a-long has been added to our schedule. The comedy, “Cash on Delivery” will be presented on February 1, 2019 at 7:30pm in Gilbert, AZ. Tickets are $24 each and 26 seats have been reserved (I can always get more). Sign up sheet will be available on Jan 1, 2019.

Attention: All ladies who volunteered to be in our fashion show on January 18, 2019……I’ve scheduled a short meeting for us on Monday, January 7 at 9:00ish after the Koffee Klatch in the Hole in the Wall. This is a special fashion show with emphasis on women cancer survivors. Thanks gals for stepping up to the plate and strutting your stuff!

Sundance Moving Volunteers will be meeting at 3:30pm on Thursday, Jan 3 to set up for the Country Store.

Our resident character actors have been filled for our Murder Mystery Dinner!! Thank you all for stepping up to the plate to participate in this first ever Sundance event!
Are you ready Sundance? This is going to be great fun & seats will be limited. Stay tuned for further murderess info!

The registration office requests you refrain from doing business on the morning of Monday, Dec 31 and Tuesday, Jan 1, 2019 as we’ll be very busy with new arrivals. Please use the drop off box for any payments and we’ll mail you a receipt.
Also – please – there is NO PARKING on the street. The only exception is for 3 days while loading and unloading from rv to park model.

The Bananagrams game begins Saturday, Jan 5 at 1pm in the Hang Out Room. Come join us for a great time!

The first Computer Club meeting of this season is Wednesday, Jan 9, 209 from 9-10am in the Hang Out Room.
Note: The Computer Room will be open until noon on Dec 31 and closed all day on Jan 1, 2019

Hula -As a special welcome to old and new friends, I will offer a FREE Introductory Hula Class on Wednesday, Jan 2, 2019 at 1pm in the Hole in the Wall at the Sundance 1 RV Resort in Casa Grande.
If you are a senior and would like to join others to learn how to hula, please join us! This is also for you if you have had an interest in hula but have an issue that has been holding you back. Hula is the perfect exercise to strengthen the core and lower back, coordination and memory, for FUN, for ALOHA and for YOU.
Experience basic hula steps and movements as well as hand motions that we will be using in the regular hula classes that will start Jan 9 at the same place and time through the end of March. Aloha, Priscella

Casino Night is January 25, 2019
A sign up sheet for volunteers is on the board in the Activities Office. We are having a organizational meeting today, Friday, Dec 28 at pm in the Hole in the Wall. Please come with any ideas and help us plan a fantastic evening of fun.
As in the past, we will have raffle drawings during the evening. We NEED and welcome your donations for these door prizes. This is a good opportunity to donate any items you can’t use or don’t need. Items can be left with Michelle Traphagan at site #178. Plan now to join the fun!

Country Store – January 4, 2019 – Join us from 8:30am to 12:30pm – New vendors – Former Vendors – Lots and lots to see and purchase. Lunch will be available from the 2 Old Dudes.

Quality Custom Travel – We returned from a successful Las Vegas Trip. Some of us kept Nevada green and others were winners. The Cirque du Soleil Show was rated by the group as “over the chart” great.
