Today – Country Store in the Hole in the Wall from 8:30- Noon. Over 60 vendors for your shopping pleasure. Door prizes offered. Lunch from the Sauce Boss will be available.

Tomorrow – Come dance the evening away to the country beat of CC Collier from 7-10pm in the Hole in the Wall. Tickets are $9 in advance and $10 at the door. The public is welcome so ask your friends to join us!

Paint N Pour – There is still time to sign up for this fun afternoon. We’ll end up with an acrylic painting of the Lady in the Moon. The fee is $35 payable to the instructor.
Please feel free to bring your beverage of choice as everything else is provided. Join us at 3:00 pm in the Hole in the Wall.

Monday, Nov 5 – Koffee Klatch – Join us for coffee and donuts and to listen to our guest speakers from Tomar Pain Clinic. Rick Felder will also be here to talk about the upcoming Senior Expo.

Our Veteran’s Day Program is scheduled to be a change this year on Nov 11. We will be presenting the colors at 10:30am followed at 11am with the WWII movie “Windtalkers”. We will have a scrumptious lunch prepared by the 2 Old Dudes at 12:30m. Tickets for lunch can be purchased in the Activity Office before 5pm on Mon, Nov 5. Please join us to recognize our resident American & Canadian Veterans.

We need your help! Please consider volunteering to help with our Christmas Float. We will begin decorating Nov 14, 2018 @ 1pm in Site #226. Our next organizational float meeting is Friday, Nov 9 at 2pm. Thank you!

Attention Shufflers – We need you to help clean the boards and shed. Please join us on Monday, Nov 5 at 9:15 after the Monday Morning Koffee Klatch. We should be able to play later in the week. Thank you!

We are sad to report the recent death of Chuck Hamilton, husband of Madonna in site #575. You are welcome to attend his memorial on Monday, November 5 from 1-3pm at the Dave White Pavilion. His Sundance family extends their deepest sympathy to Madonna and their family.

The Sundance 1 RV Church meets each Sunday morning in the Hole in the Wall. Please join us for this nondenominational service with Pastor Scott Bailey. Communion services are held the first Sunday of each month. If you enjoy singing, please join Marcia and the choir at 8:00 am for practice each Sunday morning. OUR VISION: GLORIFY GOD, SHARE HIS JOY, MEET HUMAN NEED.

Our tag-a-long to Caywood Cotton farms is Wednesday, Nov 7 for the 1:30 tour. We’ll meet in front of activities at 12:30 to carpool. The cost is $15 payable at the farm.

The 2018-2019 Sundance 1 Genealogy is starting Nov 7 at 10 am in the Gambling Room. We meet the first 4 Wednesday mornings at 10am in the Gambling Room. The 1st and 3rd Wednesday’s meetings are the regular meetings and the 2nd and 4th are designated for the beginners. When we work with the beginners, we would like the more experienced researchers to come in and help the beginners. Several programs are scheduled and we’re predicting a great season.

Write your life story – After a year’s hiatus, this interesting group resumes on Wednesday, Nov 7 at 1:30pm in the Hangout Room. Everyone is welcome!

Wednesday Scramble – The Wednesday Scramble has now moved to Thursday afternoon at 1:00pm to Dave White Golf Course. We’ll begin on November 8 and check-in time is 12:30 at Dave White. Please sign up in the Activities Office by Tuesday each week. Cost is $2.00 per player.

Please consider using your decorating talents to get in the spirit of Christmas! We’ll be trimming the trees and decking the halls on Friday, Nov 23. Mark your Calendar!! More news to follow!

Flu Clinic – Walgreen Pharmacy is again providing Sundance an on-sight flu clinic on Wed, Nov 7 at 2pm in the Hole in the Wall. This also includes a pneumonia vaccine, if needed. The sign up sheet is posted in the Activity Office. $31 for Canadians.

Important: Park Model owners – Please notify the registration office that you’ve arrived in Sundance.

Stained Glass – Welcome back one and all. We will open Tuesdays all day except for a one hour lunch and will also be open Friday afternoons. Hours for stained glass shop now are on limited hours until our monitors arrive. Keep checking on availability of the shop.
