Monday (11-12-18)– Koffee Klatch – The 2 Old Dudes will be providing breakfast from 7-8am in the Hole in the Wall. At 8:30 we’ll have our park informational meeting along with the 50/50 drawing and door prizes. Breakfast will then resume after the meeting. Everyone is welcome.
Our Christmas Show program “Sounds of Christmas” rehearsals have been scheduled. Please consider signing up for our choir, performing, stage hands, etc. Our next meeting is today (11-16-18) at 11am or stop by the Activity Office for a list of rehearsal dates.
Thanksgiving Thursday – 11-22-18 – Our annual potluck is in the Hole in Wall and begins at 4pm. Be sure to sign up in Activities Office to reserve a seat at a table. The 2 Old Dudes are preparing the turkey, ham & gravy – residents will supply the rest via potluck style. Remember to bring your table service, dish to share and the beverage of your choice. (alcohol is allowed)
Let’s get in the Christmas Spirit!! We need lots of volunteers to help set up our trees, decorate around the pool, and decorate our Hole in the Wall!! In other words, We Need You. We’ll meet in the Activity Office on Friday, Nov 23 at 10am and divide into teams for different rooms. This is lots of fun and friendship. Hope to see you then.
Our Jammers are back!! Be sure to join us each Monday evening at 6:30pm to enjoy a wonderful evening full of all kinds of music in the Hole in the Wall. There is no fee to attend and you end up with many smiles and toe tapping!
Do you play an instrument? Love to sing? Then this group is for you. Just arrive for practice at 9am each Friday in the Hangout Room. All are welcome!
The Hearing Center will be here on Tuesday, Nov 20 and Wednesday, Nov 21 for hearing screenings in the Hangout Room. Several residents have signed up during the Senior Expo so please be on time for your scheduled appointment.

A sign up sheet for volunteers is on the board in the Activity Office. If you have worked this event in the past, it would be greatly appreciated if you once again be willing to lend a hand. If you haven’t, we need all the help we can get.
As in the past, we will have the raffle drawings during the evening. We need and welcome your donations for these raffles. This is a good opportunity to donate any items you can’t use or don’t need. Please be sure the instruction manuals are included, if necessary, and that all items are in working order. Items for the raffle can be left with Michelle Traphagan at site #178. If you have any ideas or want to help organize, please contact Michelle Traphagan.
The Sundance 1 RV Church meets each Sunday morning at 8:30am in the Hole in the Wall. Please join us for this nondenominational service with Pastor Scott Bailey. Communion services are held the first Sunday of each month. If you enjoy singing, please join Marcia and the choir at 8:00 am for practice each Sunday morning. OUR VISION: GLORIFY GOD, SHARE HIS JOY, MEET HUMAN NEEDS.
The next dance is with Midnight Moon on Saturday, Nov 24. This band plays all the country tunes you love to dance to. Again, the dance is from 7-10pm in the Hole in the Wall. Tickets are $9 in advance and $10 at the door. Tickets go on sale in the Activities Office on Monday, Nov 19.

2) Hand, Foot & Toe will be cancelled on Saturday nights effective Dec 1, 2018. The other 3 days remain the same.
ANGEL TREE
The Angel Tree is taking shape and will be up this weekend in the Activities Office (Nov 17/18). The children’s cards are available and ready for you to select. All gifts should be returned to Activities or me @ #77 no later than Dec 15. I have stocking stuffers for each child at my site to be picked up or I will add them as I get each child’s gifts. Many thanks for participating in this very worthy Christmas cause.

The Sundance RC Club would like to welcome back all racers and fans to the Sundance Raceway for another season of exciting racing.
We would like to remind all our fans that our grandstand is for race car drivers only and that there are areas on each end of the stands for lawn chairs. Please do not sit too close to the fence as the cars travel at speeds of 35 mph and we don’t want anyone getting hurt.
If you are a new driver or know of someone who would like to try to drive a car before they buy one, please contact Rob Franzmann, site 227, Bob Wood, site 43, Ron Foster, site 49 or Gary Seeman, site 384.
Race times are Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 1pm.

The Sundance 1 Musical Review (Electrified Musicians) begins practice this coming Monday, 11/19 at 1pm in the Hole in the Wall. The first of 4 shows “Sweet Harmonies” is Friday, Dec 14 at 7pm in the Hole in the Wall. Please mark your calendars as it is not on the master schedule. As always, a $1 donation is appreciated.
GENEALOGY will meet Nov 21 at 10am in the Gambling Room. This meeting will be on the importance of Obituaries for finding information for your Genealogy. Everyone is welcome.

CERAMICS – Every day we see more winter visitors returning for another fun packed season.
The Ceramic Shop is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 3:45pm. Monitors are there every day to help with any needs you may have. We will have some bisque pieces for you if you are here for just a short time, along with a lot of greenware.
