Welcome Back to our first flyer of the season! We’re so excited to bring you the new dining room, events, activities and expansion of Sundance 2.
Here are the start dates that I’m aware of:

Senior Stretch – Mon, Oct 15, 10:30 – Hole in the Wall
Line Dancing – Tues, Oct 23, 1-3:30p – Hole in the Wall

Flu Clinic – Walgreen Pharmacy is again providing Sundance an on-sight flu clinic on Wed, Nov 7 at 2pm in the Hole in the Wall. This also includes a pneumonia vaccine, if needed. A sign up sheet will be posted in the Activity Office.
Do you know much about Casa Grande? This town has a fascinating history dating way back to the 1800’s. You are welcome to spend “A Day Out Downtown” the 3rd Thursday of each month at 9:30am. I have taken this walk and it was very interesting. However, it does require walking downtown so please take that into consideration. There is no fee and a continental breakfast is provided. See Sue in Activities with questions.
Welcome back winter visitors.
The Ceramic Shop will be opening up on October 15 at 9:00 am to 3:45, Monday through Friday. We have quite a few new pieces of greenware for you to purchase.
Even if you have never done any ceramics, come in and give it a try. We have all of the supplies that you will need and someone to help you get started on your new exciting project.
Hope to see you there. Lynn Olson
Quality Custom Travel – Check out the new trips at www.qualitycustomtravel.com or contact Joyce Gerdes. The new trips are Las Vegas in December and a Coyotes vs Calgary hockey game.
Thanks to all involved from Ralph & Peggy Cooper:
We want to thank the Sundance Management Team, the Ownership and any others that were involved in having the Sundance streets recoated. This makes our Resort the cleanest and best looking of all the resorts in Casa Grande. I hope all the residents enjoy this as much as Peg and I do. Great Job!
(thanks for your kind words and positive attitude, Ralph)
The All Park Potluck is scheduled for Sunday, Oct 14 at 4:00pm in the Hang Out Room. Be sure to bring your own table service, beverage of choice, a dish to pass and meat to grill. See you there!
OK!!! Which resident gave out our gate code? A family of coyotes have been spotted trotting around the park apparently looking for a spot to rent for the season. Mama and her babies should not be encouraged to spend the winter with us. Please keep on eye on your fur babies!!!
Sad news to Report: Ken Wadas passed away on Sun, Oct 31 in Illinois. He and his wife, Judy, were long time Sundance residents in site 606. Condolences can be sent to Judy at PO Box 804, Wauconda, IL 60084.
Save the Date – Our first entertainer of the season will be the return of Denny Kuller. He’ll be performing for us on Wed, Oct 24 at the pool patio from 4-6pm. Denny encourages song requests, singing along with a casual, fun atmosphere. In case of inclement weather, we will move to the Hole in the Wall. Cover charge is $5 per person at the gate. Feel free to bring munchies and a beverage!
Have you seen “The Greatest Showman” with Hugh Jackman? I have and it’s wonderful! Please join us on Friday, Oct 19 at 7pm in the Hole in the Wall for this Free Friday Night Movie. Just bring a comfy chair, snack or beverage if you wish.
Have a great week!!
