MURDER MYSTERY DINNER is SOLD OUT. We are so excited to be presenting our first Murder Mystery Dinner this year. Hopefully this will become an annual event.
The 8 TRACKS dance this Saturday, January 12 at 7:00 PM, doors open at 6:30. Rock & Roll Music from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. Tickets are $9 in advance and $10 at the door. COME DANCE WITH US!
Our Annual Fashion Show and luncheon will be held next Friday, Jan 18 at 11:30am in the Hole in the Wall. You’ll not want to miss special day. The Old Dudes will be providing a wonderful salad bar for us for only $8.50. Tickets are available in the Activities Office.
Sundance Town Council is looking for 2 new members. If you are invested in our park and want to keep our Park the #1 Park in Casa Grande, please consider becoming a Town Council member.
Appointment to Council is for a two-year term. Members must be onsite to attend meetings November through March. Additional qualifications are on the applications available in the Activities Office.
February 14th is the deadline for submitting your application. For further information, contact Alice Neuok, Site #439 maverick.
WE HEARD YOU – Karaoke is scheduled again for Wednesday, February 13 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM in the Hole in the Wall with the return of Virgil Heady. Tickets will be available in Activities beginning February 6th for $5 each in Activities or at the door..
COMPUTER ROOM Have you visited the Computer Room? If not, now is the time for you to come and visit.
We have 9 computers, with windows 10, 2 laptops, internet connections, 4 printers, 2 are also wireless printers that you can access from your tablet or cell phone. We also have WIFI. The computer room is run by the computer club and is open Monday thru Friday 9-11am and 1-3:45PM, WIFI is available 24/7 and can be accessed from the Gambling Room. Membership is required in the Computer Club at a cost of $20 the first year, $10 each year thereafter or you may pay $1 each time you visit. The monitor of the computer room can make mailing labels or business cards for you and assist you with any problems you may have. They can also give you information on someone you can help you. Please come visit us, we are located on the back side of the Library building and will connect you to the world.

Free Friday Night Movie, “Unstoppable” will be shown in the Hole in the Wall on Jan 18 at 7pm. This is rated PG-13, a suspense/action moved based on a real life event. The stars are Denzel Washington and Chris Pine. Just bring a comfy chair (or cushion), munchies and/or beverage if you wish. This is a sit on the edge of your seat movie!!
Cactus Needles will not meet on Monday, Jan 14th, because the HangOut room will not be available to us on that day. Our next meeting will be Monday, January 21st at 10am in the HangOut room. See you there!
Sundance Pool Hall is having a tournament on Saturday, January 19 from 11am till 5pm. All pool tables will be in use. Thank you for understanding.
PINOCHLE LESSONS – Would you like to learn to play Pinochle or just need a refresher with park rules Lessons will be offered on Saturday, January 12 and 19, from 10:00 am to Noon in the Gambling Room. We will start the first session with an explanation of the rules and then spend the rest of that day and the next week with experienced players and honing skills. Today is the last chance to sign up in Activities to insure enough experienced players are there to help.
The Library is off to a great start in the new year. We are bursting with new books but are happy with any donations you bring us. Thank you! We are really in need of westerns and would welcome as many as we can get. Many in our current collection are in pretty bad shape. If you have any westerns you would like to share with other readers, we would appreciate your donation.

Genealogy will meet Jan 16 at 10am in the Gambling Room. Leslie Walls will be giving a program on Swedish Heritage and Genealogy. This program should be helpful in other nationalities as well.

Hands Across the Border – February 16, 2019
Tickets go on sale Tuesday, Jan 29, 2019 in the Hangout Room at 9am. The tickets are limited to 4 per site – $10 per ticket. Please use entrance to Hangout Room off parking lot. We are pleased to announce Brent Lee will perform after dinner. Everyone is welcome to join us for an evening of friendship, good food, prizes and entertainment.

The Sundance 1 RV Resort Church meets each Sunday morning at 8:30 in the Hole in the Wall. Please join us for this nondenominational service with Pastor Scott Bailey. The Wall that Heals scheduled to stop in Casa Grande – The Vietnam Memorial replica is coming in March. The over 58,000 men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice will be remembered on the wall at the Dave White Regional Park from March 7-10. This is a definite must see.
One of our favorite entertainers, C.C. Collier will be performing at our dance scheduled for Saturday, Jan 19, 2019 at 7pm in the Hole in the Wall. Tickets will be on sale in the Activities Office on Monday, Jan 14 for $9 each.
Mark your Calendar!! We’re having another Paint n’ Pour on Sunday, February 3 in the Hole in the Wall from 3-5pm. Sign up sheet will be posted in the Activities Office on Monday, Jan 14. Fee is $35 each for a finished painting payable to the instructors the day of the event.

Parking Reminders – Now that the park is at nearly full capacity and parking for cars is at a premium, please be sure to park your bicycles in the bike racks and your golf carts in the designated areas. Also, please DO NOT CUT ACROSS the parking lot through empty pull through sites. The arrows are painted on the drive to be followed and for everyone’s safety. Thank you!
All vehicles are to obey the 15 mile an hour speed limit and to stop at all stop signs. SAFETY IS OUR MAIN CONCERN!
