Ready to Rock and Roll?  Please join us tomorrow, Nov 11 from 7-10pm in the Hole in the Wall for a rockin’ good time.  We’ll be dancing and listening to That Kool Band.  Tickets are available in advance in the Activity Office for $8 and at the door for $9.  Hope to see you there.

Sundance 1 Church services are each Sunday at 8:30am in the Hole in the Wall.  This non-denominational service is presided by Pastor Scott Bailey.  If you’d like to join our choir, practice is at 8am.

 Sundance Quilters:  There will be a “Quilt Til you Wilt” work day and dinner potluck on Thursday, Nov 16 in the sewing room.  Hope to see you there!

The Wednesday Mixed Golf Scramble had to make changes again this year.  Tierra Grande has closed and was no longer available to us.  We have made arrangements to play at Arizona City.  Unfortunately, we will not be able to have a shotgun start.  We have tee times beginning at 1:15, next Wednesday, November 15.  Sign up in the Activities Office.  We will try and have the tee times assigned so that couples will be close to each other.  This will all be new this year, so you may see changes made as we go along.

Pet Photos will be taken again this year at the sports area gazebo on Wednesday, Nov 22 from 1-3pm. The cost is $5.  Dress up your pooch in Christmas attire and practice saying “cheese”.  See you there!

Our Annual Veteran/Remembrance Day program will be held tomorrow, Saturday, Nov 11 at 1pm in the Hole in the Wall.  Please come to honor and thank those friends and neighbors who served so we can enjoy our freedom. Refreshments will be served.

Sundance 1 RV church is holding a Thanksgiving food drive for the Domestic Abuse Center and the Homeless Veterans Center.  Please leave your donations at our tub in the Activity Office or at site #445. You may also bring them to church Nov 12 or 19.  Thank you for your support

There will be an awesome, fun-filled magic show with Scott McCray after our Thanksgiving Potluck.  Tickets are available in the Activity Office for $5.  Even if you’re celebrating Thanksgiving with others, please come and enjoy the show on Nov 23 at 5:30ish!

Pickleball beginner lessons will start on Monday, November 13 at 9am. Come out and have fun!

The requested hose is ready for use in the sports area dog park. Besides drinking water for the pets, it should be used to keep the dust down. Please keep it reeled up when not in use.

The Casino School will be here on Friday, Nov 17 at 10:30 in the Hole in the Wall.  Learn how to win big! Sign up sheet is in Activities.

This Monday, Nov 13, the Sundance/Fairways VETS Group will conduct their season’s first meeting at 10am in the Hang Out Room.  The Canadian and US Services get together for a meet and greet and we would be honored if you would join us.

Tai Chi – Our video classes will resume on Tuesday, Dec 12, at 8am in the Hang Out Room.

Mark your calendar!  For those of you who use our exercise room, we’ll be showing a manufacturer’s video on Friday, December 8 at 10am in the Exercise Room.  Please join us to learn the proper use and function of the equipment.

Christmas is Coming!

Please show us your Christmas spirit by helping the park celebrate the holidays.  We need men and women to help assemble and decorate our park trees on Friday, Nov 24, at 10am.  Please meet in the Hole in the Wall.

Also, MEN AND WOMEN SINGERS – we need you for our Christmas Choir to perform at our Sundance 1 Christmas Show on Wednesday, Dec 13, 2017 at 7pm in the Hole in the Wall.  Please sign up in the Activity Office.  The first practice is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov 29 at Noon in the Hole in the Wall.

Free Friday Movie is scheduled for Nov 17 at 6:30 in the Hole in the Wall and the featured film is “Mama Mia”.  Come join your friends and neighbors – just bring a comfy chair or cushion and anything you’d like to drink or munch on.

Bingo Coordinator – must be able to be at each Tuesday night Bingo game.

Country Store Coordinator – must be able to devote around 15 hours per month to this exciting event on the first Friday of the month.

Keyboard player for our annual Christmas Program on Dec 13, 2017 at 7pm (plus 4 practices)


When walking at night or early morning, wear LIGHT colored clothing.  You may be able to see fine, but people who are driving can’t see you.

When driving your golf cart and/or bicycle at night, lights must be on.  If you do not have lights, DON’T DRIVE AT NIGHT.

The roads in the park are no different than any other road so drive on the correct side of the road (street).

ATV/OFF road vehicles are only to be driven from your site to out of the park.  Please, do not use 4 wheelers to drive within the park. 

Front Gate Monitor Volunteers are needed. Monitors can work 1, 2 or 3 hour shifts. A list of duties are given to all plus Gordon will give you an in-service training. Please sign up in Activities or contact the Becks at 218-380-8077.  Sundance 1 RV Resort depends on volunteers to make it a good experience for everyone to live here.
